I'd rather see Angle and Lesnar for the first time ever at a WM. It'll be cool having a WM main event be a match never before seen.

What about "heel" Rock vs. Brock?

Yes, but Rock will not turn heel with his movie career. Let's face it, the only way we will ever see Rock as a heel again is if his movie career is as successful as Hogan's.

Does nothing for me.

Maybe I'm just not "into" seeing Angle being made a sacrificial lamb at the altar of Brock or whatever, but Austin/Angle looks so much better from my perspective.

But I don't think Angle will lose to Lesnar. I see Angle getting the win.

How do you know Angle wouldn't just to lose to Austin?? Austin' s won 3 out of their last 4 meetings

I don't.

And so what if he does? I wanna see Austin/Angle, I don't give a fuck who wins.

I kinda want Austin/Angle too now that AS mentioned it....but I want to see Austin/Hogan. Ugh!

They should have fucking done Austin/Angle this year instead of giving them hall and Kane. Hell, Do Austin/Angle and Hall/Kane, giving nWo a win, and getting great match.

I'd MUCH rather see Austin v. Angle go out and do their usual awesome match then see Austin v. Hogan.

Except I'd rather see Angle v. Lesnar over all three. Why don't you think Angle would win AS?

Guest bob_barron

But they had already done Austin v. Angle twice this year already while Hall v. Austin had never fought before.

For one, he'd be the heel, second, he's not a strong enough character to beat Lesnar.

You know, I just realized something. Instead of ending Lesnar's streak with the Big Show, they should have done the Fully Loaded 00 angle, where if Brock gets DQed, he loses the belt.

But they had already done Austin v. Angle twice this year already while Hall v. Austin had never fought before.

And Steve was just SO open and receptive to that match, wasn't he?

They could always do face v. face since Angle is pretty much a face to begin with. The last two shows I've been to he's received enormous face pops.

I like your Fully Loaded idea though.

Well he wasn't but Austin isn't a booker. He's a wrestler

A High standing Biggest draw in history whom they wanted to job in the midcard of the biggest show of the year to a drunk after carrying the company on his back the year before. He had very, VERY valid points.

We've debated this ad naseum but Austin v. Hall was being promoted as a main event feud and placement of the card really doesn't mean anything.

Look at Flair v. Savage- that was a main event level feud that was in the midcard at WMVIII.

I don't see why Austin had a problem with losing to Hall considering it could've helped the nWo get over more as heels.

One job is not gonna kill him

Look how the guy showed up to the arena? Would you job to him in that state?

What would it have mattered anyway? Hogan turned face that night, Nash would get injured a week later, and Hall was gone after about a month.

It would have been a waste.

Are the Hall showed up drunk rumors true?? I never really heard them except for here.

I still think Austin should've done the job because I think the nWo really needed a win there.

Had the WWF booked the Hall-Austin feud the way I wanted them to which was nWo basically terrorize Austin for a month and beat the fuck out of him at every turn only to have Austin come back and pull of the miracle at X-8 then I would've had no problems with Austin winning

While the nWo did destruct soon after I think at the time Hall should've gone over

That would have been GREAT for Locker room morale. The top draw in the company jobs to an absolute waste of oxygen (And you can quote me on that. This man has had NUMEROUS chances to clean himself up but refuses.) who can't fucking keep himself sober? Wow, If I was an upper midcarder, I would have been THRILLED!

I'm sure the locker room wasn't happy about Vince signing these guys for big money and then making them out to look like complete idiots.

I agree with you AS that Hall is most likely a waste of sperm but given the circumstances- he should've gone over

You're not.

Scott Hall was the shit when he was Razor Ramon. His career was pretty much shot when he became a part of the "Outsiders" and from then on was looked at as a "Tag Team Specialist."

Well, the alcohol didn't make things any better..

I just think Austin going over at X-8 and then beating him again two weeks later was just absolutely retarded.

Austin is the man and invincible- WE GET IT ALREADY!

He lost to Undertaker right after, and it looked like he was willing to put Eddy/Benoit over, so I don't think he was anti-Job, I think he was anti-nWo and refused to do anything to help and of those assholes, and he was anti-stupid job.

Austin put over Taker under extremely screwy circumstances.

He made Flair look like an incompetent idiot in their feud and of course the infamous Booker T match.

I understand Austin prob wasn't too fond of the nWo, I don't appreicate him walking out after X-8 and making the #1 heel stable in the company look like a bunch of idiots.

Of course come June-July they were doing it on their own but that's another story.

Guys, Austin not wanting to Hall makes perfect sense. HALL DIDN'T FUCKING DESERVE IT. PERIOD. They should of just fired his ass and put Nash in there.

Guest bob_barron

The way the feud was built up Hall did deserve the win. I mean Austin made Hall look like an idiot for a month and then squashes him at WM??

Ummm riiiight

Am I the only person who wants an Austin/Lesnar main event for WM?

Austin is quickly becoming a parody of himself, while the Rock could easily become fresh with a heel turn. Austin though, is on the brink of losing draw. Time for the old guard to job for the new guard.

Scott Hall, the person, did not deserve a win over Steve Austin. Period. It would of hurt business big.

It's amazing people complain about how the WWE is not making new stars, yet they support Steve Austin losing to Scott Hall at a Wrestlemania.

Guest bob_barron

I fail to see your point HartFan. Hall going over Austin doesn't make a new star either.

I don't see how one job by Austin would've hurt the business.

Hogan vs. Austin

HHH vs. Steiner

Angle vs. Brock

Rock vs. somebody

Those will be the top 4 matches at WM19
