Guest Kamui Report post Posted December 1, 2002 I don't know how many of you have it, but on the Attitude disc is a new rock remix of Angle's theme (not the shitty one that they used for two weeks late last year, this one's actually pretty damn good). Starts out like normal, but then in the part where the fans would chant "You Suck!" at him, it switches to a cool metallic beat that would be harder to do the chant in time with. To me, this is more proof of an Angle face turn. The fans seem to be chanting "You Suck!" at Angle more because it's fun than because they actually hate Angle- see: the fans on Smackdown, who chanted it at him only to start a "We Want Angle!" chant during the tag match, or even the fans in my section at Survivor Series, who chanted it at him and then started a "Let's Go Angle!" chant during the actual match. To me, it seems like Benoit's going to turn on Angle (probably at Armageddon) and then they're going to change Angle's theme to the one on Anthology. -Duo
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted December 1, 2002 Are you sure it's not the short-lived theme Angle had for a couple weeks in December 2001?
Guest Kamui Report post Posted December 1, 2002 Are you sure it's not the short-lived theme Angle had for a couple weeks in December 2001? That's what I said during the post, no, I'm positive it's not. I have that theme on my comp for the pure shit value and it's not the same one- this one is 100x better than that shitty one. -Duo
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted December 1, 2002 I just downloaded the theme... the metallic beat isn't very loud.
Guest Kamui Report post Posted December 1, 2002 I just downloaded the theme... the metallic beat isn't very loud. Then you got a shitty version of it. I have it off of the CD and it's loud. Or you got the '01 version. -Duo
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 1, 2002 I love the theme on Anthology even though I think the 'You Suck' theme should stay because its hilarious that the fans love Kurt yet still chant it at him
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted December 1, 2002 It's not the '01 version and the quality is good. Sorry, I am not convinced.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 1, 2002 Well, I have Anthology and I thought that the Angle theme was the one he used for a couple weeks in 2001 as a face. (I know he also had like a hip hop version too that lasted like a week!) Could anyone put up the 2001 version to download so I could compare?

Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted December 1, 2002 I've tried searching for that rock remix version, the one he used back in 2001 for a couple weeks, and I can't seem to find it. That's my favorite Angle theme.
Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted December 1, 2002 I could have sworn for like one week he also used a version with like an extra hip hop beat in the background, and was never heard again. That's very possible, but I've never seen a recording of it. I'm uploading now...

Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted December 1, 2002 "Hip Hop" isn't even music. It's noise then untalented people pass as music. Exactly. And nowadays all I hear are old 80's songs being resampled. I was at my friends one day and I hear the opening riffs to "Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister - then some black guy started saying shit over it. I was like THE FUCK?!. The current state of the music industry is horrible.

Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 O I hear you all, hip hop sucks. This is what I remember, I think it was over the summer/fall when he was a face. They played the new rock remix for I think 2 shows. Then the next week they played a different version with a hip hop beat in the background and must have realized immediately how bad it was and put his original theme back by the end of the show. Then they used the rock remix for one more week before just sticking with the original. I remember at the time we were all joking about how they can't make up their mind with Angle's theme! Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Angle's easily the more loveable of the two between Angle and Benoit - the dork can be loveable, and I think Benoit's one mode of super-efficient technical wrestling monstah works better in heel-dom. Whatever match they get booked into at Armageddon should give us an idea of how long this is going to last.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted December 2, 2002 That "black guy" was Tupac Shakur, Eagan. That's another thing. These Hip hop people (Hoppers? Hopsters?) from the east coast and west coast killing eachother. Jesus Christ, your music sucks, and it's not worth killing anyone over. Go listen to a Stones album...but don't rip it off, and try to start new.
Guest creativename Report post Posted December 2, 2002 And some white people wonder why other races can't stand them. While most hip hop is crap, most of any style of music is crap. A lot of hip hop rules. And while I was never as into Tupac as some of my friends, he was very talented and influential. Hmmph...can't believe I'm defending Tupac; usually I'm taking the other side, because most of the time he's over-glorified as some sort of superhero. However to call his music, which was very creative and filled with deep and thoughtful lyrics, "crap" is just lame. But whatever...some goddamned crackas don't understand anyway [i mean this all in good fun of course ]

That's your difference.
Guest NYCTA Bus No. PA1767 Report post Posted December 2, 2002 Stop being an ignorant dick and do some research, seriously. There's nothing worse than some jackoff that tries to be cool while spouting off nothing but some warmed over tripe. I don't like Rock music, but I don't call all Rock artist a bunch of screaming white boy faggots because that's not what Rock is all about and that's not what those guys are. If you know nothing on the subject, just shutup and let someone who doesn't jackoff on their brain do the talking.

Hip Hop, is rhyming in rythmic fashion (usually violent or vulgar content) over a synthesized beat, or sampled music. Please tell me politely where I was wrong.
