you know what is disturbing, the local theater showed Jackass the movie and Barber Shop but not Friday 3 or 8 mile. The saving grace was showing Freda for one week, but you kind of expect that here.

Tell me about it. Berry was a decent enough Bond Girl, but there was really not a whole lot of chemistry between her and Brosnan. And John Cleese as the new Q stole the show IMO.

And I saw Harry Potter this weekend, and its not as great as the first movie, but it was worth the 7.50

I don't care if she was completely nude having hardcore sex she was lifeless, boring and had no character. If she gets her own movie based on this character it will be terrible.

 

I also didn't like the overall movie. Other than John Cleese and the villians there was nothing going for this boring cheesy mess.

 

Pierce isn't a bad Bond, but there hasn't been a truly good Bond movie since the Roger Moore era.

I'm not shocked either. I'm also not shocked that she won an Oscar. Hell, they gave Julia Roberts (who is also lifeless, borning and has no character) an Oscar as well, didn't they?

The critics seem to really like Solaris, but moviegoers seems to despise it. I think most people were assuming it's a sci-fi film, which it isn't.

I saw the Harry Potter movie, because I was promised Rik Mayall of The Young Ones fame was going to be in it, and he wasn't. I was mad.

 

Other than that, a very entertaining movie until what I felt was a really rushed ending. I hate the "the entire mystery is explained in thirty seconds"-type endings. Still, a solid ***3/4 movie for me. I actually want to see the first one now.
