I hear you guys talking about Austin's return lie it's etched in stone. Who told you he was coming back, and why are you so hopeful anyway?

It's been reported on several sites that Officials have been in contact with Austin. If Vince is back on speaking terms with Austin business wise it's pretty obvious that he wants him back.

It's a given he'll be back, most likely at or around the Rumble, and almost guaranteed before Mania. The WWE is in no position to hold out any longer, and Austin has no doubt been antsy for a while.

As for why everyone is so excited, well, it's partly because people think he can combat HHH's politics. I can't stand Austin, but I do think that even though Austin himself adds on to the glass ceiling, his return might result in a net reduction of the glass ceiling.

Also, his return will be a mark-out moment, and those are very rare these days; and he is still the biggest draw in the business.

Plus Austin can put on good matches and actually wants to wrestle the good wrestlers. As opposed to the Lame only wanting to wrestle people he can squash unless they're his best friend.

Well, when SCSA got fired, we all knew he was coming back someday.

On Raw they should old Raw moments with SCSA in them. Vince never would of shown those if him and SCSA weren't on good terms.

However, if they didn't show SCSA stuff, then there wouldn't be as many 'Raw' moments.

Vince wants him back, Austin wants to go back.

It's only a matter of time before they reach an agreement.

This is the WWE we're talking about here. They can fuck up anything, and don't be so confident that Steve wants any part of it. Although he probably wouldn't have any qualms about jobbing to Brock now.

That being said, I WANT AUSTIN BACK. My e-mail's not "[email protected]" for nothing.

Actually, him and Bret are on good terms now. McMahon supposedly called after he had his seizure and they are back to speaking, which is far more progress than I'd ever have thought they'd get.

MoleStomp, Austin was never fired. He had his contract suspended.

Vince would've used the Austin footage even if they weren't on good terms. It's his footage and if he needed to use them for something like the 10th Anniversery he would've no matter what.

Nah. Vince is a spiteful f*ck; if he was on bad terms with Austin, he wouldn't have used footage that showed Austin going over him and embarassing him in every which way, let alone show it every week. There literally hundreds of other potential "Raw memories" that don't have anything to do with Austin (even if many people think he's in the best ones).

They always talked about Bret for years, however, that was always to make him look bad. Not only recently with Vince and Bret on better terms has the WWE showcased him in any sort of positive light. The Anthology spots are the first thing to do that in a while.

OMG! I know someone in Dallas who says that UPN 21 In Dallas promotes Smackdown with a picture of Austin and have been doing so for a long time.(this by the way, is very true..)

OMG. AUSTIN's going to Smackdown!

whatever.

When Austin comes back, throw a party, and then 2 weeks later everyone can bitch and moan about how bad things are because he came back. No ones gonna be happy whether he comes back or stays gone. I personaly say just let him stay away for good..but thats obviously not the popular opinion around these parts.

What did Austin do that was so bad that he should stay away for good? Almost every one of your favorite wrestlers -- from Flair to Benoit to Austin -- has had moments when they were unhappy with how things were going and acted immature. That's human nature, and that's natural among entertainers, which wrestlers are. And you know damn well Austin can outperform 85% of the roster anyway, so what's the harm?

Desperate for a Convicted Wifebeater. Morally speaking that is a bit sad. But hey, We all Love Randy Savage and he used Elizabeth for a rag doll alot of times on the road.

so lets set the morality aside for a moment.

Austin probably get his big pops again if he returned. Austin has energy and has a past of ressurecting sinking ships before in the 98 turn around of the ratings. If you get Austin away from those goofy segments with hats and singing and hugging, and you keep him away from leading a mass of wrestlers whom majority of them we never see actually wrestle.

You bring back Austin the Loner, "The Proverbal Rattlesnake" Who attacks anyone at anytime, and Espically Pit him against Bischoff, the Long time rival who fired him because no one would be moved by a guy in black tights and pads. and if he goes Smackdown side he might Strip Stephanie again lol

point is, even though Austin has some really nasty sides to him, he still probably have enough juice left in him to turn the business around one more time if he was so inclined. Certainly Vince's Austin Depression would clear up and maybe take the reins of power away from Steph and HHH. Which we all want as it is.

So the Lesser of two evils...

Get back a guy who admittingly gets a Awesome reaction and Enthuism from Fans Marks alike

Or..

Stay with HHH and Steph at the helm silencing people like Heyman and their booking ideas.

As much as I don't want to see Wrestler Vs Owner AGAIN, Austin Vs Bischoff sounds pretty damn good.

Austin is Austin, he speaks for himself.

Bischoff is Gold. He's great at getting Heat, and he makes his character pretty damn Entertaining when given something good to work with.

BUT, Bischoff would probably end up aligning himself with Triple H. An Triple H/Austin feud right now, I don't want to happen at All.

Oops, my bad, same difference.
