list your favorites, or remnisce about any undefeated streak gimmicks, how well they did and the use of the person ending them

please nobody needs to say "goldberg/Brock lost some dark matches or so and so lost in the previous company". Fell free to include some trivia.

how weird is it that Show and Nash have something else in common, besides degenerating into slugs in the ring because they are the 2 who ended the 2 last biggest undefeated streak gimmicks in North America - Goldberg and Brock

Too bad Tazz's push got derailed after he was the one who ended Angle's at the Rumble

For the life of me , I cant remember who ended Perfect's for sure..

was it Bret Hart?

I also remember marking out when watching Wrestlefest 1990 and seeing Mr. Perfect defeat Hogan via DQ at MSG (A couple of weeks before WMVI). Now, I know they did this all the time with Hogan to draw a good crowd for the next month's rematch, but back then it was a piece of wrestling heaven.

WTF? Brutus Beefcake ended Perfect's winning streak?

Which employee did Leslie blow to get that honor?

He was one of the most over wrestlers in the WWF at the time so I wasn't surprised to see him end it.

That's pretty scary knowing that Beefcake was, by gawd, popular!

BTW my mistake Barron the pre-WM match Perfect did win I got'em mixed up.

Beefcake did NOTHING. Hennig lost due to his love-hate relationship with ringposts.

Since Tazz used the Tazzmission to beat Angle, who was the first person to pin Kurt? And when did it happen? (this isnt a trivia question,I've forgotten who it was and need my memory refreshed).

And uhhh.....Tatanka had a long undefeated streak if I remember.

huh?

Raz im puzzled: who was asking when that was?

i started the thread by mentioning Tazz ended Angles streak at the rumble

someone else poitned out Angles' gimmick that he wasnt pinned at the Rumble

i was just asking who was the first to beat Tazz and i remembered HHH going over the WCW Champion Chris Benoit (well he nevr lost the belt) and then current ECW chamion Tazz on consecutive shows..but was that his first loss

Perfect lost to Hogan on the SNME right before WM6 and that ended his streak.

Hogan did beat Perfect to end the streak, but it occured at a house show prior to Wrestlemania VI, so it doesn't count. Beefcake's win was the first official loss by Perfect. SNME had to have been taped afterwards, because Warrior was WWF Champ on that show.

Since we're speaking of streaks, what's the longest winning streak Austin's ever been on? Also, who ended it?

Austin's debut in late 1995 till his loss to Savio in spring of 1996 was his first ever one

Didn't Austin have a big winning streak when he first joined WCW and won the TV Title?

Ended courtesy of Ludvig Borga.

Rob Van Dam had quite the winning streak in ECW when he one the TV Title. I don't know if he won every match or not (could have lost by DQ) but he held that belt for over a year and a half and lost it because of an injury.

I have no idea if this is true or not but I heard Andre the Giant went on some insanely long winning streak (Like 10 or 15 years) before he lost to Hogan at WM 3. I doubt it's true because that is a hell of a long time to never lose although I have no proof to support either way.

Best: Goldberg's by a mile...

Worst: Tatanka's by a mile...

However, I do take solice in the fact that dubious circumstances arose in the ending of Goldie's, Tatanka's, AND Brocky's because who knows how far Tatanka could have gone, ya know?

When Ludvig Borga beat Tatanka, to end his winning streak, with ONE FINGER... it was one of the saddest days of my young life up until that point.

Don't forget Yokozuna's banzai dropping Tatanka twice after Borga had just beat him too...I was pissed cause of the mark in me.
