Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 and do you think this match will consist of fast paced ACTION~! or main event SLEEPERS~!
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Meltz hinted they may do Eddy v. Benoit
Guest Nevermortal Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 The HHH/Austin TSoH match was about 40 minutes. So, I'm expecting God vs. Godboy to be about 45.
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 that would be a good match, but this is a perfect example of why the PPV's are too crowded together. I think it would be a GOOD idea to have each PPV affiliated with one brand, except the WM, RR, and other big ones. But honestly, four days isn't a build it's a joke.
Guest Choken One Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Are they going to do the 3Stages all at once or seperate them? I recall a 2/3 falls match that didn't go fall1/fall2/fall3... But instead...Fall 1 was the opener, fall 2 was the 5th match and fall 3 was next to last match...OH wait...I remember...It was Souled Out 2000...I had the honor of being in attendence being confused why Kidman had to wrestle three different times instead of not just having a Gauntlet match and being pissed that Kidman-Melenko went 3 minutes instead of a *** 10 minute match that it could have been. However let's see... Street Fight should go to HBK at 20minutes in a rehash of SummerSlam Cage Match will go 15 with HHH going over via Multiple Pedigrees. Ladder Match...Multiple interference from Batisa, Flair, Kane, RVD, Jeff, Bischoff, Morely, Spike, and Katie Vick's ghost with HHH winning thanks to God no selling Shawn's prayer...
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Meltz hinted they may do Eddy v. Benoit Well, they have my money right there.
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Are they going to do the 3Stages all at once or seperate them? I recall a 2/3 falls match that didn't go fall1/fall2/fall3... But instead...Fall 1 was the opener, fall 2 was the 5th match and fall 3 was next to last match... For fuck's sake, I hope they don't draw out this shitstain of a match over the course of the night. Just do one pin after the other and get this lame-ass match over with. It's like booster shots. I'd rather get stuck with 18 different needles at once than go back 18 different times to feel the pain. Who would want to go through with that?
Guest Choken One Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Eddy-Beniot...Sure they got the angle built in over the last three months...so why not? Oh yeah...I really rather they get 20 minutes instead of 9 minutes...They only can have 20+ if Edge is in the ring at all times. As for that here is what The lineup looks like 3 stages of Hell 4 way Tag title match 3 way Ladies Match 3MW Vs Kane/RVD Big Show Vs Angle Eddy-Beniot Kidman-Knoble Edge-Albert Wow. 2 good matches...3Hell and Eddy Chris...Gotta give my 35 buckos to WWE. INc.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Kidman v. Noble?? They haven't built to that at all
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 3 stages of Hell - SHIT 4 way Tag title match - CLUSTERFUCK 3 way Ladies Match - USELESS 3MW Vs Kane/RVD - SHIT Big Show Vs Angle - SHIT^2 Eddy-Beniot - GOLD Kidman-Knoble - FLYING GOLD Edge-Albert - HAIRY SHIT
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Kidman v. Noble?? They haven't built to that at all Not yet. (Is that a spoiler? I'll never tell...)
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 3 stages of Hell - SHIT 4 way Tag title match - CLUSTERFUCK 3 way Ladies Match - USELESS 3MW Vs Kane/RVD - SHIT Big Show Vs Angle - SHIT^2 Eddy-Beniot - GOLD Kidman-Knoble - FLYING GOLD Edge-Albert - HAIRY SHIT The first HBK/HHH was good. Why will this one be shit? Oh, and if you watch that match and pretend there is no Clique, and that they should be putting people over, you can REALLY get into the psychology. It's no worse than Tenryu/Mutoh
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Part of what made HHH v. HBK good was that the expectations for it were so low. They don't have that option anymore
Guest converge241 Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 im a big believer in seperation of the falls opener middle and closer i would book like that myself
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Part of what made HHH v. HBK good was that the expectations for it were so low. They don't have that option anymore Keith gave it ****. And he was practically DYING for reasons to hate it. Meltzer gave it a high mark as well. Let's just admit it: It was a good match.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 It was a good match, I'm not denying that. But part of what caused me enjoying it and marking out was I was expecting a suck fest
Guest notJames Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Eh. The only entertaining spots were when GodBoy was in danger of dying. Hell, I'd step over my grandfather for a front-row viewing of that. Too bad it didn't pay off like I had hoped...
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Seeing HBK in a wheel chair did make me smile
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 It was a good match, I'm not denying that. But part of what caused me enjoying it and marking out was I was expecting a suck fest I'll concede that. HBK can carry anything with legs and brain to ** 3/4, and this is on PPV, so I go with *** 3/4 as my prediction. Although I think Keith will snub it on general principles.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 I think it'll be good but except for whatever holy shit bump they have HBK taking in the ladder match- What else can they do??
Guest EricMM Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Here's my prediction. We won't like the ending.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Well since neither guy is well liked here- we obviously won't
Guest jessecartieri Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 CRIPPLE FIGHT III - The Revenge Of The 'Roid Monster! There is no drama, and no element of surprise here. HHH wins the first fall with a pedigree, Shawn wins the second with some variation on the super kick, and HHH wins the third after knocking Shawn out on the outside. The only element of suspence present is seeing whether Shawn breaks his back trying to recapture his youth in the ladder match. Mind you, it's not like HHH will complain - what better way to put yourself over than killing your best friend on PPV? Haw...wonder if they'd stop the show for HIM?

I thought we'd put the Owen Hart thing to rest. He was a good man. It was a terrible accident, it was no one's fault. They should have stopped the show, but they didn't, end of story.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Meh, I don't want to see this match at all. Didn't like the SummerSlam match and this will be just more of the same garbage. Thank God for Hooters, though. I can just stare at some hottie in a tight shirt than watch two bums pull out a lame clusterfuck of a match.
Guest Redhawk Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 It will go three falls, because if it weren't there'd be no need to announce three gimmicks. Flair will run-in, otherwide he wouldn't have been on the preview/moving pictures/HHH muscle pose thing. But here's how I see it playing out. HHH wins the first fall with a Pedigree. Shawn wins the second fall via escaping the cage. However, either just as Shawn is climbing down or after the cage is lifted, HHH smacks him with a sledgehammer in the back. Shawn can't move, HHH gets the ladder, and wins the match. So while there was no actual third fall, there was, no? And HHH gets to win the belt by grabbing it, which is way cooler than winning it by climbing out of a cage.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 The cage match from No Way Out wasn't escape so I don't think this one will be either
Guest Choken One Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Yeah, Methinks it going to be a Pinfall only Cage Match because that is just stupid...Climbing the cage just to get back in for fall#3. I will call this...HBK-HHH love to pull good shit only with each other ala HBK-Razor...So expect a gory Street Fight with actual Pyschlogy, with HHH killing Godson with the chair and sledgehammer. Shawn to fight back...Win the Cage match with a Elbow from the Top for the pin...and then a clusterfuck interference heavy Ladder match...Expect some broken tables...and all Ends with HHH Pedigring HBK Off the attached ladders (after Flair levels HBK with Hammer mid ladder) and HHH grabs the title just before the pedigree . HHH poses for the people...People sit on their thumbs and leave...HHH keep posing as James the ring crew guy detaches the final Turnbuckle and keeps posing as they load they ring into the truck and HHH remains posing until 900 Monday night when he finds his weekly job buddy...Ah, why not Booker T?
Guest Ram Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 You know, this could all work out in the end. Next RAW, have HBK come out in a wheelchair. Bring out a rising star, and have a conflict of some sort. The star can say "You know Michaels, if you don't know your history, it is doomed to repeat itself." And then BAYUM! SUPERKICK. Worked right, you could have an instant star. Problem is, who would it be? *shrugs*
