This is the last CZW show in Viking Hall. The return of Ric Blade, let's see if he breaks his leg again. Zandig will obviously win ownership of CZW back. No barbed wire or glass allowed from what I understand, so it'll be interesting to see what will be in the COD. Cactus, thumbtack strips, other sharp objects. Probably won't be as good as the Deja Vu DM or even Pain/WB COD3 match, but should be brutal. Thoughts?

The kind that could get the kicked out of Philly, after all, since they won't be running in the ECW (yes, ECW) Arena anymore. But why isn't Gage getting the title shot? He's the one they've been pushing with Pain since September...now all of a sudden it's Messiah getting the shot? Gage was in the 2/3 falls match where the belt was stolen anyway.

I don't know why Gage isn't in the match, it would make more sense if he was. I heard the no barbed wire or glass thing didn't come in effect until 2003, so they should be able to have both in the Cage of Death. Lobo and Zandig are going to kill eachother.

Yep, I heard Jesus is fighting a fallen angel in a Cage Match in Jerusalem. I'm favoring Jesus due to his strong finisher, the Tiger Driver '91 (91 BC, he stole it from Moses).

Guest DeputyHawk Posted December 15, 2002 Report Posted December 15, 2002 don't bite my head off on this, i've only just started following czw, but what exactly was the situation with the belt getting stolen during the justice/gage match on 10/12? i read something about the masked man saying the belt would be returned at COD4 and people thought it was low-ki under there, possibly indicating some kind of roh involvement in the show. so what was the situation with that, was it revealed to be messiah all along on czw's tv show? just wanting to get all caught up with me czw info. cheers to anyone who can clear it up for me.

So far, it looked like the COD was going to be the first match! However, Zandig got jumped by Lobo's Army and taken out, while Lobo cut a promo saying there would be no COD match. Obviously, something big is going down tonight.

At the last arena show, during the tag match, Messiah announced that he stole the belt. He had a mask on, climbed the ladder, and stole the belt.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted December 15, 2002 Report Posted December 15, 2002 So far: Lobo showed a video of Zandig being attacked by his army with lightbulbs at the CZW school, said the COD match wouldn't happen. Zandig came out, brought out Adam Flash who put a contract above the cage. Match was on. Went 30-45 minutes, multiple insane bumps from the scaffold to the outside. Finish came when Zandig press slamed Lobo off the scaffold through a pane of glass bridged on top of a table in the ring. Zandig grabbed the contract and won the match. Intermission to take down the cage and fix the ring. 10 man elimination, Jon Dahmer/Irish Drinking Team (Ian Knoxx & Chris Styles)/Derek Frazier/Adam Flash vs. Danny Rose/New School (G.Q. & Chris Cash)/Rockin Rebel/Greg Matthews. Came down to Dahmer & Knoxx vs. New School. Cash pinned Dahmer to be the sole survivor in around 18 minutes.

Me thinks they recognized how long COD3 was, considering they had to set the cage up before hand, and decided to do the cage match first. All signs point to Pain losing. Messiah actually having an extended run, instead of the one-month run he had earlier this year, would be good for the company. And I got a feeling something big is gonna go down. BTW, CZW is actually running the arena again, on Dec. 28th. 1pm bell time, as both ROH and 3PW are also running that day.

Pre-match, Prohibition cut a promo saying how he didn't need to drink beer in the ring, refering to the Irish Drinking Team. 14 minutes in, Ian Knoxx of the IDT does a run-in, hits Prohibtion with a beer bottle, Berk gets the submission via Texas Cloverleaf. Next up, #1 Contendorship for the Jr. Heavyweight belt, Ruckus vs. Sonjay vs. M-Dogg.

Chris Cash did a run in while all three men were down, only go get his ass beaten. Finish comes on a Sonjay roll-up on M-Dogg while Ruckus was out of the ring. Sonjay brings in two girls from the audience to dance with him, until he is attacked by Ruckus and M-Dogg, though Sonjay is able to slip away. Described as the showstealer. Chris Hero was laid out after a backdrop to the outside onto a table that did not break, painful indeed. The crowd response was tredemdous for this match, both B-Boy and Hero were impressive. Hero cut a heal promo before the match... upnext TLC!!!

The end came when Trent threw Blade off the top rope and Kashmere sandwhiched him with a ladder (hard to explain but I guess it looked real good). There was also a spot were Backseats set up 2 chairs holding up the ladder and then backdroped Blade onto it bending the ladder, InSANE! This match got several standing ovasions. According to Ryan its the hottest crowd ever at Viking Hall (for CZW at least) main event is next... SOMEONE ELSE WILL HAVE TO DO THE MAIN EVENT...I'll most likely be offline by then

I would have ordered it yesterday, but CZW doesn't put money in my wallet. X-Mas does. Also, during X-Mas break here, I'll probably review the two CZW tapes I do have, Best of the Best 2 and Tournament of Death.
