The biggest logic gap in wrestling

Heel A is no longer afraid of Face 1 because he's already taken a beating from Face 1 and he wasn't so tough.

So theoretically Face 1 will be higher up on the ladder than Heel A. If Heel A doesn't think Face 1 is so tough, why doesn't he challenge him to avenge his loss and leap past him on the ladder of success?

How come when HBK or Flair get thrown into the corner, they do a flip before they hit, making them roll over the top? Why not just take the hit Flat Back like others?

Hurts less for them and in Flair's case, he gets to land on his feet to possibly retaliate.

Sometimes, he does. But realistically, they think to themselves.."wait a minute. I don't know exactly what it is I did wrong here to lose to this guy, but I should figure it out before I try him again."

Why are close handed punches now allowed? Technically, that's not a punch at all.

From the dictionary: to strike with a fist.

Still, why can't you strike with closed fist?

Hw come Jericho almost always lands on his feet when he's going for the Lionsault and the opponent rolls away? His back is turned the entire time and not even he's good enough to compensate that quickly.

How come he hits the Lionsault body first rather than with a double foot stomp? The double foot stomp would have 100% of his body weight landing on the opponent and be a much more high impact move.

The reason that is often given by the announcers is that the perosn was sent into the corner with so much momentum that they flipped over.

why does everyone but me hate the Garvin Stomp?

Because the Dusty Rhodes Stomp is better.

The point here is this...

It all makes sense in the wrestling universe and that's all that matters.

Just like everything on Soap Operas make sense in the Soap Opera universe.

PASSIONS is the bomb yo

In the Soap Opera Universe a character can die then come back as a evil twin or ghost then get resurrected by magic.

In WWE Universe an angle can be in an infinite loop never adding anything new in each re-creation other than the principal characters.

It'd be too dangerous. He could easily break his foot if he doesn't hit it perfectly.

Because IT'S NOT REEEEAL

Would you really want pro wrestling to behave like real life? If Pro Wrestling was like real life it would never be popular.

HBK did do a backdrop to counter the Pedigree on Summerslam, I think.

Why do wrestlers dye their hair blond?

Why does Benoit do a headbutt off the top when he could just drop an elbow or a leg that not only hurts his opponent just as much, but also causes much less damage to himself?

If Con is the opposite of Pro, is Congress the opposite of Progress?

1) Why do the heels ALWAYS get beat up when both the faces, and said heels, make a hot tag? I really want to see the heels just destroy the faces one day in a big match like that.

2) When Hogan "Hulks Up", why does EVERYONE still try to fight him, instead of just leaving the ring untill Hogan's spell is over?

3) When the nWo invaded WCW, why didn't WCW just have them arrested? When Bishoff joined, why didn't the even higher ups take all his power away instantly, and then have them arrested?

4) How could The Undertaker and Kane create lightning inside the arena?

5) When a face is being destroyed, why don't his fellow faces come out to help him more offten?

6) If Vince hated Austin so much, why not just fire him for all of the horrible things he did?

7) Why did Vince think that he bougt WCW, when Shane actually did it?

8) When a wrestler who isn't part of the show and is in the audiance simply as a "fan", like Steve Blackman back in the day, why do they instanly get contracts when they interfere in matches? If we do the same will we get a contract?

9) Why doesn't Rocky just tell us what he's cooking?

10) How come when a wrestler attempts murder, like HHH being crushed in the car, and Hogan ramming Rocky, why are they not INSTANTLY arrested, period? Once you become a wrestler, are the laws of the land instantly lifted in your case? Then, if so, why can such simple things be cause for arrest, like just punching someone in the ring at times.

Answers for Downhome:

2) The power of Hulkamania draws them in, brother. It's every persons dream to see the Hulkster Hulk Up, even at the expense of their own body. They look into his eyes and see the faces of ten thousand screaming Hulkamaniacs and in that crowd, brother, they see themselves. They want to be a part of the legend that slammed the 700 pound giant at MSG, so they think to themselves, "I must unleash Hulkamania", and hit him until he Hulks Up. Hogan told me that himself, so it must be true!

4) Because they were supernatural, duh. However, UT gave away his abilities when he decided to be a biker instead and Kane lost most of his with his wish to speak like a normal human being.

7) He just saw McMahon in the paperwork and figured it was a done deal.

OK, why is it that wrestlers have backstage talks with one another with a cameraman right there filming them?

Because the man who could get the advantage over Hogan while he's doing a "Hulk Up" would immediately be a legend and what wrestler wouldn't want to be one. Yeah.

In no DQ matches, why doesn't either wrestler just bring out 20 of their boys and beat the living daylights out of their opponent with baseball bats, 2x4's, hammers, whips, TV sets, cows, etc.?

My attempt at explaining this:

Both wrestlers know that if they did that, the other guy would do the same. And they don't like clusterf*cks any more than fans.

However, this doesn't stop wrestlers from having friends interfere in normal matches, so why would it stop them in non-DQ ones?

Also, logic would dictate that only wrestlers who are certain that they have more back than the other guy would participate in DQ matches--then both guys would bring out their posses and one is proved right.
