Guest Longdogger_Pete Report post Posted December 12, 2002 Hey guys. So I'm thinking about putting together a mix-CD of SWF and SJL themes, and I thought I'd enlist your help. All you need to do is put together a short list of your favorite SWF entrance themes of all time, and I'll compile the votes and tally the results. I'll let this thread gestate for, oh, about a week or so, and then announce the winners. Some quick rules: * Please send (via PM) up to 12 of your favorite entrance themes, listed in no particular order. * The themes you choose can be from SWF or SJL, past or present. Anything goes. * Please include the name of the wrestler that used the theme (in case I've forgotten). * Please do not choose more than one theme for each individual wrestler. * You can vote for one of your own themes - but again, only one. That's it. Have fun and thanks for your participation.

Guest Kibagami Report post Posted December 13, 2002 Do you think we could get Pete to make a CD with 24 tracks devoted entirely to "Rollercoaster of Love"? K.

Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted December 13, 2002 C'mon guys, I've got my own custom theme song. Who else had that? Granted you can't really find Dweezil Zappa playing "Frost Wants to Kill your Mama," but you can find his "My Guitar Wants to Kill your Mama" cover and use your imagination. And I'm working on finding some local band to cover my version. Oh, just you wait...

Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted December 13, 2002 Frost, the Watson 310 Mafia will be happy to produce it, as soon as we learn how to play instruments. And Silent: it only fits 16 times. Unless we made it a double album...
Guest Kibagami Report post Posted December 13, 2002 mmmm. Double albums. Let's do it. K.

Guest AnnieEclectic Report post Posted December 13, 2002 Well, everybody else has said the ones I like except for one. I. Get. Wet. Andrew W.K. Not really because it's my theme as much as the fact that IT'S FREAKING ANDREW W.K.!!! Every compilation album on the planet needs one AWK track, period. I don't care if it's "Music to make a colicky baby calm Volume 10", AWK should be there. Period. -Annie

Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted December 13, 2002 I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere about Annie using "I get Wet," but I really don't want to go there.
Guest Powerplay Report post Posted December 13, 2002 Testify by Rage Against the Machine. I mark for myself and I love the song. Princes of the Universe by Queen. This is such an awesome song for an entrance, and really suits the Magnificent 7. Love Rollercoaster by Red Hot Chilli Peppers. It's the Midnight Carnival in song form! Frost is Gonna Kill Your Mama, a modifed version of Dweezil Zappa's My Guitar is Gonna Kill Your Mama. It's so cool, it has to be in it. Oh Canada segued into Secret Agent Man by Johnny Rivers. I mark for CIA, and it's just a cool song. Battleflag by Lo-Fidelity All-Stars. It's Edwin, and just like him to pick the coolest music he can get for an entrance. Crazy Train by Black Sabbath. It's King, and beginning of it just sounds awesome for the character (especially the laughing). Toccata and Fugue in B Minor, by Johann Sebastian Bach. It's eerie and menacing, yet captivating and beautiful at the same time. It's a great choice for a insane heel to use. Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones. It's the fucking Stones. It makes it even better that Sarah uses it. TNT by AC/DC. It's AC/DC. No other reason needed. 9th Symphony, Ode to Joy by Ludvig von Beethoven. Tribute to Flair from Flare must be in this. Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses. Neilson rocks, and so does his entrance. And last but not least... Sail Away by Enya. G0R0 BEINGZ 0WNIGN YOU ALLZ WITH HIS ENTRACNE!!1!!@#$%%^@#
Guest Longdogger_Pete Report post Posted December 14, 2002 I'll contribute a few votes of my own, simply because I can. Some of these are a bit older but I don't get tired of hearing them. Edwin MacPhisto: "Battleflag," Lo-Fidelity All Stars. Best. Entrance. Evar. Apostle: "Papercut," Linkin Park. XF9 pride. Eric Moon: "Original Prankster," Offspring. Most of you are saying "Eric who?" Stubby P. McWeed: "Guerrilla Radio," Rage Against the Machine. Props to the commish. Magnificent Seven: "Toxicity," System of a Down. Decent heel track. X Force Nine: "Operate Annihilate," Powerman 5000. And here's one for a face stable - specifically - mine. Erek Taylor: "Downfall," Trust Company. He needs to return. Xstasy: "Come With Me," Puff Daddy. Look, the missing Kliq member. Longdogger Pete: "Addictive," Faithless. LDP as a heel didn't last very long, but this is still my favorite of the many themes I've used. Low Brass: "Brass Monkey," Beastie Boys. I'm honored to have been the one to end this man's career. I wish he could return too. Faulkner: "Rex Tremendae," Mozart. This one's for gag value, but with a historical significance that I doubt anyone would get. I know, you're all saying "Who?" again. Sydney Sky: "Cave," Muse. She'd kill me if I don't mention her. Yeah, there's my 12.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted December 14, 2002 Eric Moon! Faulkner! It's all so old-school I can't even handle it!
