Sting beats Luger for WWA title in Switzerland

Sting won the World Wrestling All-Stars championship yesterday in a main event of the promotion's tour finale in Zürich, Switzerland. Sting defeated Lex Luger and Malice in a Three-Way Dance to become champ.

interesting. on the surface, it seems utterly idiotic to film a ppv where luger beats sting to win your vacant world title, only to have sting topple luger on a house show, the last of your tour, just a few days later.

 

having witnessed the atrociously botched ending of the sting-luger ppv match first hand, i can only guess that on the ppv broadcast itself (to be broadcast in the u.s. on feb 9th), the awful championship match will only be shown in highlight form, or perhaps cut to the (second) finish with luger winning the belt, then say sting beat luger a few days later and is now world champion, and show that match in full on the broadcast. i could live with that. any swiss fans out there know if they filmed that match?

 

otherwise, what the fuck are they thinking?

It should be noted that Sting pinned Malice to win the belt. Luger wouldn't even job to his best friend. he's also ballooned to well over 300lbs.

I am at the WWA web site, and they do not have a picture of Luger anywhere. Hell, they don't even have a mention of him anywhere that I can see.

the wwa website is appaling. i saw luger at the ppv. he is really fat, but still has a six pack on the top of his gut. very gross. the scottish fans chjanted "you fat bastard" at him throughout his match with sting, which was fun.

Someone needs to get HHH to face Luger. Neither one would want to job sooo badly, that the match would never end.
