It is just the fact that the people they WANT over, quite frankly SUCK. Not as if it a suprise, but we all read every week in the Ross report about how creating a new star takes this and/or that, and it is a slow process, blah blah fucking blah. However when you take two wrestlers like Jericho and RVD(even Booker T for that matter) on Raw, who both have way more skills in the ring than Triple H could dream of, all it takes for them to get to that NEXT LEVEL with the fans, is a couple of BIG WINS. However, ultimately it is the fuckhead in charge Vince McMahon that decides Batista is the future and he is going to get the huge clean win over Kane with Flair at his side. Same with Brock Lesnar. Now I don't hate Brock Lesnar, I actually have taken a slight liking to him, but quite frankly, there are plenty of people who SHOULD have had his spot far before he made his debut in the WWE. We all know it. However Vince was sitting at his desk, foaming at the mouth when seeing a picture of Brock's muscles, and just DECIDED, fuck it, put a freeze on everyone else in the upper-midcard because I want THIS GUY on top. So as far as all of us smarks are concerned, it is probobaly in our best interest concerning time and energy to forget about complaining about Triple H or Rock or whoever because except for a couple of occasions(B-Gunn/Test) if Vince CHOOSES someone to be on top, he DOES WHAT IT TAKES through booking, to ensure they get it, and he doesn't care how many HARD-WORKING, SUPERIOR-TALENTED wrestlers he needs to kick aside and brush away and lower in the card to make room for these guys......And I don't care how much "influence" Triple H and the other workers have over Stephanie and the production meetings, as soon as VINCE WANTS A CHANGE, he will make it happen. He would be just as likely to tell Triple H to go to hell, as he would Rob Van Dam, it is just for some odd reason, he really believes a hack like Triple is what's best for the WWE....How sad reality is.

I complain about Angle getting what will amount to a transtion title reign because Angle is the only guy in the company right now that I see with the potential to be the top guy.

 

So booking him stupid is bad for business.

 

With RVD...it pisses me off because in his first ppv match he handed them a bucket full of over that they can't get the guys they want too and then proceeded to spend the next year and a half slowly making it go away.

 

Then they pushed Albert.

That's why it's OK that RVD sits at the World, Angle can't beat the guy who beat Brock Lesnar without his help, Albert interferes in the SD! main event, Booker and Jericho are in the tag division while the Kliq awaits their third Kliq friend or newest cripple signee to join them in the main event and I'm SURE Batista will lose to someone good soon. I mean...Lesnar lost to...

And the thing is, as long as Vince McMahon is alive and in the wrestling business, we'll be getting peices of shit like Batista, ALBERT, Show, and Test pushed down our throats, while more deserving(and over) wrestlers like Booker T, Jericho, an RVD left unpushed and in mid-card Hell.

 

So I think what needs to happen is clear. Someone must kill Vince McMahon. It's the only way we can be HOSS free.

i agree with much of what you guys are saying but while i felt the wrestling was terribly lackluster last night, the booking was right in so many ways. booker-goldust FINALLY win the tag belts. bautista (if he is the guy you want pushed, you know, the young guy) should have gone over kane. angle should have won w/ brock's interference no less to setup the brock-angle showdown. benoit should have won, and yes, hhh should have won to get the belt from hbcripple. if i never see armageddon again, i won't lose any sleep but the booking was a-ok from my vantage point.

If Vince had a brain Angle would hold the title to Wrestlemania so then Angle can be the top man in the company and hopefully he'll draw, then you use him to get Edge and Lesnar up to the next level. Then you bring Austin back and have him bring Benoit up. The you've got Angle, Edge, Lesnar and Benoit for your SD! main eventers, with Eddy, Chavo, Rey, Tajiri, Knoble, Kidman and Austin for good matches in the midcard, then put your hosses in tag-teams where they can just come in to clean everything out after the two better workers in the group have a good match.

 

I think that's a solution even Vince would be happy with.

I just see Raw as a glaring example of how a few guys with superior talent in the field of WRESTLING, are just brushed aside. Orton and Batista aren't exactly pieces of shit, but why should they even be getting that much time to get over when Jericho and RVD are basically doing nothing. Jim Ross talking about how it takes time to make stars is such a joke. Well it has taken approx 12 months to destroy 2 stars (RVD/Jericho)
