Death of Superman TPB, signed by Dan Jurgens, Louise Simonson, Jon Bogdanove (sp?), same as Spawn #50, they came to mexico in '97

DV8, signed by Humberto Ramos.

Comic Fan:

Spawn #50 signed by Todd McFarlane whe he was in Mexico on '97, He's my Fav penciler, and I was lucky enough to be security in the con, and the organization gave us an hour +- to hang out with the guests, if you have one wizard from late 97, you can see an article made by Jurgens about the con.

Amazing Spider-man #320 & Spider-man #8.

That are some examples, I'll post more stuff later.

Im asking 'cause after all this months I been readin 'bout Sass knowlwdge 'bout all Bat, Super, X-men, Capt, etc, or some gus focusing on new stuff like Bendis, "Y", or Fables.

Hmm. One that comes off the top of my head is my hardcover of Sandman: Brief Lives. It's my favorite story arc of the series, AND it's signed by both Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean. Rock on! I have a bunch of other signed comics (my first one was a signed Web of Spider-Man #1, by Greg LaRocque), but that's the one I love the most.

What else? I really don't have a lot of super-valuable stuff (or if I do, I'm probably unaware of it). I'm in the middle of sorting out my comics so if I come across any others, I'll list them.

Um... damn near nothing for me. I've got Transformers #3, back when it was supposed to be a limited 4-part series, and guest starring Spiderman (wearing the alien symbiote Venom costume), and that's about it.

On the TPB front, my oldest (ergo, most valuable?) one has to be a first edition "Son Of Origin" collection, from Bantam Books. The newest releases from Marvel didn't have Nick Fury or something.

Most recently, I have a "Heroes" TPB signed by Joe Quesada and a bunch of other guys, in perfect condition.

One of my favourites is X-Men: Heroes for Hope, which to me still stands out as a very good 'jam' issue, with various writers (including Stephen King) and artists contributing. I got it signed by Claremont as well way back when.

I also have some Claremont/JRJR X-stuff signed by both of them.

Out of pure luck and fortune, my dad acquired an original copy of the first ever Ninja Turtles comic when he was in Canada, he brought it for $2.

I've never read it, as it is practically mint, and must be worth at least $5 by now. I could send my children's children to university on this comic one day.

No idea what my comics are worth.

Is an original Spawn #1 worth anything? How about the first appearance of Venom in Spiderman? I've also got a number of "first character appearance" Batman comics. Like first appearance of Killer Croc and other villians.

I've got a bunch of old Vertigo stuff too...old Sandman and Sin City mostly. A bunch of old copies of Beanworld, Groo and Zot.

It's probably all worthless, but I don't buy comics as an investment anyways.

I also have Uncanny X-Men #98 autographed by the artist. Love those conventions.

This is what happens when your collection starts getting to the 5000 mark. Have to write everything down or you'll never remember any of it.

Not really.

If you have read each one of your books once along with glaze through each one a couple times, it's not too hard to remember them.

I don't read the older ones for obvious reasons.

I do remember the stuff that's newer b/c I read it all.

But my goal is to own all the books from the Uncanny series. I own about 280 issues so my goal is pretty well in sight.

Around 280 issues of Uncanny X-Men

All but 15 issues of X-Men

About 400 issues of Spider-man from the assorted series.

Every issue of Avengers since the restart

Every issue of Daredevil since the restart

About 100 issues of Iron Man

600 issues of Super Man

Most of the Transformers run from way back

All of the Bone issues

All the 2nd series issues of Mage

About 120 issues of Batman books

The first 60 issues of the JLA stuff

The entire first Alpha Flight run

Most of the New Mutants and X-Force stuff

All of the Ultimates line

Almost everything Marvel Knights line puts out

Most of the first 75 issues of X-Factor

Most of the MiracleMan books

Assorted series that have started in the past 4 years that I don't own enough issues of to really discuss

Various Spawn books

Various Marvel and DC stuff that I've picked up in lots off of e-bay. One lot had about 1000 books in it and another had 500 books. I usually get these to quickly fill in holes for Spider-Man and X-Men
