Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Mitsuya Nagai, who is the only AJ wrestler I give a damn about (besides Kojima) announced that he's leaving AJ. While its good since Mutoh wasn't doing anything with him anyways, where can he go. I personally hope he goes to NJ and reforms his team with Kakihara, but he might have heat for putting Iizuka on the shelf for over a year, of course a rematch between them would draw some serious interest. Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted December 18, 2002 I'd hope that he would end up in the new UWFi start-up, or Battlearts.
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted December 18, 2002 He said he's freelancing.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Damn...this certainly sucks...if he went to NJ, teaming with Kakihara again would be sweet. Him vs. Iizuka would be MONEY. I'd love to see that match. It would be stiffer than a motherfucker...
Guest wolverine Report post Posted December 18, 2002 "Him vs. Iizuka would be MONEY." What currency would that be?
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Dandy, why would Iizuka want to be "stiffed" by a guy who nearly crippled him the year before? Once is enough for most people. And remember, "freelance" means he can still work NJ they want him.
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Monopoly money.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2002 No. NJ would be so pissed that Nagai would get his ass stiffed. I would just like to see Iizuka whoop his ass, already...shit...
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Nagai would go perfect with the Makai Club, then they'd have two decent workers (Nagai and Murakami), plus they could play off his injuring Iizuka to make him a mega heel.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Or, they might just be so pissed as to *not* higher him.
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted December 19, 2002 What are you smoking that makes Murakami a decent worker? All he does is beat the shit out of people; he's Bruiser Brody without any willingness to sell.
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted December 19, 2002 I don't think NJ would be pissed as to not hire him, he hurt Iizuka in June, but he still teamed with Dangerous K for the G-1 World PPV in September, NJ could easily have told Kawada to get another partner like Masa Fuchi. Jubuki: I don't seem to recall Brody having much willingness to sell either, so a more accurate statement might be: "Murakami is Brody only with a more modern moveset than a jumping knee drop"
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted December 19, 2002 What modern moveset is this? He PUNCHES PEOPLE. For fuck's sake, watch the matches - knowing a couple of submissions doesn't make you modern. And you need to watch a Hell of a lot more Brody if you think he didn't sell for anyone.
