Guest papacita Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Are there any matches or shows that you've always wanted to see, but for some reason you haven't? To this day, I haven't seen Royal Rumble 92 or Survivor Series 96. Also, while I've seen a few matches from SummerSlam 92, I've never seen the Savage/Warrior match. I've always wanted to see that match...not for the wrestling itself, but I was really into the storyline surrounding the match and always wanted to see how it played out. And believe it or not, I've never seen Backlash 2000. I was pissed off at the WWF after WM2000 and didn't order the show out of protest (the one show I decide not to order and CHYNA GETS STRIPPED! BULL!). Anyway, respond before I kill you.

Zetterberg is God Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 '92 Royal Rumble '96 Survivor Series Souled Out 98 The Flair/Hart Iron Man Match The match the Clique members had on Action Zone in '94 The Steiners/Hart Brothers match from '94
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I never saw Bret vs. Austin at SS 96.
Guest Slingshot Suplex Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I've never seen Austin vs Hart -the double turn match. I would have done just about anything to see Flair vs Steamboat live in the late 80's but they never brought the match to Detroit.
Guest kingkamala Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Great American Bash 90(I'm a big Sting mark and I'm surprised I haven't tried seeking out the show) Souled Out 98 Halloween Havoc 89 WWF IYH 17: Canadian Stampede Believe it or not I've never seen Wrestlemania XIV WWF IYH 18: Ground Zero
Guest Youth N Asia Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I haven't seen most of the Flair/Steamboat matches. Also haven't seen the Bret/Flair title switch
Guest bob_barron Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 ::Tries not to mention my seeing of most of those:: Anywho- RR90 Survivor Series 97 (I will in a few weeks) A lot of the Clash of the Champions There's a match on a Dustin Rhodes shoot with DBS v. Dustin that I HAVE TO SEE! Never saw Jarrett v. HBK, Southern Boys v. ME, Liger v. Pillman from the house show and Flair v. Bret go 60 minutes. Also never seen Bret v. Benoit either
Guest Ace309 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Canadian Stampede The Vader Eyeball Match against Stan Hansen That legendary Texas Death match from Memphis where the guys supposedly got up after 27 falls and started dancing.
Guest razazteca Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Wild Eyed Southern Boys v. Midnight Express I have it on tape, well Turner Home Video one, its a good Jim Cornette sytle match, I really see nothing special in this match. I think the big surprise here is that Steve Armstrong and Tracy Smothers were a good tag team in WCW. Survivor Series 97 is overrated because of the screw job finish in the Main Event, the over all show is lackluster, you get to see Bull Bucannon 1st gimmick. I want to see the Brett vs Benoit from WCW Mayhem when Brett became champ, I found a download of it but its only the last 10 minutes of it! The nWo run in does kind of ruin the match. As for the Brett vs Benoit on Nitro for the Owen Memorial its the 2 of them just working hammerlocks, headlocks, some matwork then Sharpshooter, plus Tony Schiavonie adding some pointless announcing, but the Brain saved the day.
Guest godthedog Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 MX v. fantasticks any MX v. RnR X any joshi stuff jumbo v. misawa, any kawada v. kobashi, the 6-man of jumbo's crew v. misawa's crew anybody who's interested, i got the hookup for flair/bret (all of them), harts/steiners, and basically any match that bret had from 1988 on.

Guest bob_barron Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 MX v. Fantastics is as good as advertised except for the bullshit Dusty finish
Guest converge241 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 ive been a fan since 86 and have seen everything ive wanted to see pretty much live or on tape the few things i could think of though: the Clique Action Zone match Bret- Flair ironman there was an AWA match that i used to look for all the time but cant remember what it was..if it comes to me ill just edit it in here i bet the WWE tries to stay away from watching Canadian Stampede again.. they'd probably break down in tears knowing they cant have a crowd be like that again
Guest bob_barron Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 The Clique tag match is on a tape called Slamfest 95. It rules. I've never seen the first WarGames either or the classic Flair v. Windham match from 1987
Guest razazteca Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 1st Wargames was in 1987? if it was than it is on the net at the usual places I shrill. I need to see some Stan Hanson, Vader, Williams & Gordy, Laffan & Furnas matches from Japan. NJPW jrs from the 90's FWA events from UK ROH DVDs will this ever make it to stores? I do not trust the mail order business.
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 The Wrestling Classic Halloween Havoc 1998 (Hogan/Warrior 2) All of the Clash Of The Champions shows except 4 and 6. And any ROH and CZW shows.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 The Wrestling Classic is okay- Savage v. Dynamite KICKS ASS
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 It's the only WWF PPV I haven't seen, so it intrigues me a lot.
Guest papacita Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 A couple more for me... ECW Barely Legal, Anarchy Rulz 2000, Heatwave 98 and 99 and the Big Ass Extreme Bash. I've never seen the Bret Hart/Flair match where Bret wins his first WWF title (which annoys me, because I have every other title win on tape) I've never seen the RVD/Eddy ladder match (even missed the Confidential where they recapped it) Great American Bash 89
Guest bob_barron Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 Bret v. Flair title switch is available on Smack em Whack em. Papacita- if you've never seen Backlash how have you seen Rock's title win. GAB 89 is def as good as advertised
Guest Jack Tunney Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 I stopped ordering PPV's after the 1998 Survivor Series so I've missed a lot.I really wanna see Backlash 2000.Is this availible on DVD anywhere?
Guest bob_barron Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 No- WWF never released it on DVD
Guest papacita Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 Papacita- if you've never seen Backlash how have you seen Rock's title win. I meant Bret's. I've got WMX, Survivor Series 95, Final Four and SummerSlam 97 on tape.
Guest Si82 Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 Living in the UK i would like to see most old WCW PPV's seeing that you can't get them over here, although we are getting to see NWA/WCW Worldwide from 1990 at the moment. Do you thing Vince will ever release old WCW PPV's on DVD?
Guest bob_barron Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 Papacita- if you've never seen Backlash how have you seen Rock's title win. I meant Bret's. I've got WMX, Survivor Series 95, Final Four and SummerSlam 97 on tape. Oh ok. Backlash 2000 is a great show except for this one awful part where Chyna is in her bra-n-panties. I mean who would want to see that??
Guest ConspiracyVictim Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 Chris Benoit vs. Villano III - UWA 1992 Bret vs. Owen - Iron Man Match Sting and Luger vs. Steiners (getting it in a few days) Windam vs. Flair - Crockett Cup 1987 Liger vs. Sano - NJPW And I have a Wargames 1987 master tape for whoever was talking about it. There were two wargames on there and also Tully vs. Dusty in a ladder match.

Guest converge241 Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 "The Wrestling Classic is okay- Savage v. Dynamite KICKS ASS" this was the first wrestling tape i ever watched that someone taped that superplex blew my mind when i saw it
Guest Dmann2000 Posted December 26, 2002 Report Posted December 26, 2002 Never seen Sting/Luger vs Steiners Sting vs Vader GAB 92 Rey/Edge vs Angle/Benoit (1st one) Shawn vs Owen (ring collapse) Shawn vs Jarrett (complete) Savage vs Bret (SNME) Shawn vs Al Snow(Shinobi- RAW) Shawn vs Davey Boy, both times(Barron help me out) And while I'm on the subject, I have a copy of Shawn vs Diesel from GFBE, but the condition is sloppy so while I've watched it, I haven't seen it as well as I could
