I'm Taking my 1st Trip to Viking Hall for XPW's Merry F'N X-Mas.

I am super excited for the event, it will be my 1st time in the ECW Arena.

The card looks good to me actually:

 

"XPW WORLD TITLE MATCH

Champion: SHANE DOUGLAS w/ Lizzy Borden

vs. Challenger: VIC GRIMES w/ ?????

Monday night on XPW TV fans will saw Grimes return and attack The Franchise for running him down with a car. But what fans didn't see was the face of the girl who joined him in the attack and grabbed Lizzy. Who is the girl? Her name and face will be revealed this Saturday night!"

 

I heard that this was a good match from Exit Sandman, I don't really know what to think, XPW's main events aren't that good usually. The manager thing is interesting I guess.

 

"XPW TELEVISION TITLE MATCH - SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER REFEREE

Champion: KAOS w/ Veronica Caine and GQ Money

vs. Challenger: DANNY DORING

After 3 weeks of trying, Doring was able to get Shane Douglas on the phone and get him to name a special guest enforcer referee to this match. After being robbed of a title win over Kaos twice, Doring now feels he will have an even playing field. But who will the enforcer be and will he be able to keep the Enterprise under control?"

 

I know that the fallout match was good, but I heard that the match at Exit Sandman was terrible. Anyways, I am pissed that they are wrestling AGAIN, but this special ref thing could spice it up a little.

 

"XPW KING OF THE DEATHMATCH TITLE MATCH - HOUSE OF HORRORS MATCH

Champion: ALTAR BOY LUKE

vs. Challenger: SUPREME

How often does the challenger set the stipulations for a title match? "The

Human Horror Show" Supreme feels that he has been without his King of the Deathmatch title for long enough even since Angel helped him to beat Supreme at Fallout! At Exit Sandman, Supreme tossed Luke off of a 15 foot scaffold and then sacraficed himself as he powerslammed Angel off of it too! Now the Human Horror Show has devised a match that he will unvel. With the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission banning Deathmatches, what sick twist will Supreme come up with? We have heard that a doctor will be IN THE RING for this one!"

 

Well, when they wrestled at fallout it was great. I am looking forward to what kind of a match this will be, I am thinking it will be a COD type match, because if CZW was allowed to run COD with the weapons that they did, im sure XPW can do just the same.

 

"XPW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Champions: MEXICO'S MOST WANTED

Lizzy Borden has signed a new team to XPW. They are young, they are

talented, and they are going to shock a lot of people when they debut in XPW next Saturday night."

 

I like MMW, and I am looking forward to who the new team will be, I am just glad that it wont be the dead prez AGAIN.

 

"TITANIUM DIPPED SHOVEL - LIGHTS OUT MATCH

SANDMAN vs. POGO THE CLOWN

The bad blood between these two was supposed to end at Exit Sandman when the "Hardcore Icon" was attempting to give his retirement speech. The ceremony was ruined by Pogo. To add insult to injury, The Sandman's own daughter turned on her father, put on clown makeup, and left with Pogo, even accusing Sandman of not being her real dad! Now, Sandman wants revenge and wants to bash Pogo's head in with his own shovel! Therefore, suspended above the ring will be a shovel which has been dipped again in titanium assuring that one blast to the head and your opponent is out. The first man to get the shovel and knock out his opponent will be declared the winner!"

 

I dunno, but I am looking forward to this. Sandman vs Pogo from fallout was good, reminding me of Rhino vs Sandman from heatwave 00. This match will be more like a stairway to hell type match, and im a hugh sandman mark, so im not complaining.

 

"4 CORNERS MATCH - WINNER MEETS XPW TV CHAMP IN JANUARY!

JERRY LYNN vs. JONNY STORM vs. ZEBRA KID vs. JOEY MATTHEWS

Four newcomers to XPW will take place in this elimination style match. Two start in the center of the ring and can tag in and out with anyone.

Elimination occurs when a wrestler is pinned or submits and the last man

standing will receive a shot at the XPW Televsion Title at New Year's

Revolution! All four of these men are out to prove themselves in XPW and

there is no better way than by winning this match!"

 

This will be the match of the show, no doubt about it. I am looking forward to this match the most.

So it looks like Crazy vs Psicosis won't be happening, I wonder what crazy will be doing. this looks decent.

Well, overally I am excited. The only things that I am not happy about are the main event and that kaos is fighting doring for the 3rd time in a row. but, i still think that the kaos match will be good, and the main event should be decent at best. i will take pics with my digital camera, and i will post what i thought about the show, regardless, i think ill have fun. i heard that xpw is selling tickets at a moderate rate for this show, the nyc bus trip is SOLD OUT (IM ON IT), but they still want to sell more, so for attendance, i predict that it wont be as much as cod4 of course, but it will probably be more than exit sandman and fallout, probably 650-700 MINIMUM. K, thats what i think, also douglas said that he wanted 10-12 matches, and there are 8 right now, so id say we will be treated to a couple more.

The trip's going to be rough though, when I went to ROH from Boston, it was a 7 hour drive both ways in a van. I didn't sleep for 30 hours. So my advice- sleep a lot before you go so you can enjoy it!

You'll be surprised just how small the former ECW Arena really is. I sure as hell was.

i live in nyc and i am taking the xpw bus trip, the ride is like 2 hours, plus there are tvs and they supply us with wrestling videos to watch!

I've been on some before.....good times. ROH, COD3 and ECWA's Super 8 Trips. Not run by the same guy though...I hear this promoter is a DICK.

i have communicated with the bus trip promoter via e mail and he has been very friendly. when you took a bus trip, did you need to show up to the bus with any confirmation, or did they just have your name down or something? if not, how it did work?

Well, the way it works with One of a Kind bus tours, who is in charge of the ROH, ECWA and CZW trips, they have your name down on a piece of paper along with the number of your party. You show up...they check you off, thats it. The sheet lets them know if you've paid or not and if you haven't, they allow payment right then and there. I'm not sure if they still do it that way, but then again....that's not the XPW guys.
