The Good: When you look past the no-shows, which are understandable at this time of the year, this was a great show. Fugue and Ejiro really did some good stuff with their promos, and the cage ladder match was brilliant. Ejiro deserves to be champ. Congrats, man. Also, the C4/Janus match was quite nice, with a spectacularly brutal finish. I expected nothing less. Hell in an Igloo better match up to that one. The Ugly: Three men no-showing a WORLD #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH. That bothers me. Overall, good show. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As a side note, we should probably point out that Edwin isn't in the fed anymore in the FAQ... Yes, either that or remove Edwin from the stats page where we outline the commentators, one or the other. But Card pulled out the goodness in this match after a bit of a slow start. I really dug the Natasha-Suicide King banter during the contest and I hope you make that a regular occurance. I'm also cool with the idea of Card going to his finisher mutlipule times to keep down Hoss Mountain while still having to cheat your guts out. And continually going back to the kicks over ad over again met for a good show. Although I would have noted some sort of distraction while Natasha was macing Moran and added a bit more description to the thing, I think the word limit probably makes you do that, once it gets boosted for your matches, you should be okay. SANTA'S SLEIGH MATCH NON-TITLE MATCH Janus© vs. C4 -C4 shows! But more importantly, C4 wins! Yes he did, and he was cool as he did it too. Although I think the commentary was a bit too funny if that makes any sense. It's like you guys are wrestling all intense and bleeding like stuck pigs when you write something like 'King nearly pisses himself' which sort of breaks the mood a bit. It's like Bobby Heenan making a joke while Cactus Jack is getting powerbombed on the floor. But other than that, you are funny as all hell. Nice writing all the way around though, and I really don't have anything helpful to say, except that it chained pretty well together with my promo that came right after. That promo sucked by the way, and was there just to continue the whole Ejiro-Janus thing. MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH CAGE LADDER MATCH Fugue© vs. Ejiro Fasaki -AND THE WINNER... I won in case you didn't know, but there was room for improvement there for me to make. Like I totally forgot about Fugue's cage phobia from his match against Matt a few weeks back and should have totally worked that in somewhere. In addition I should have worked the tailbone psychology into the finish more, like have Fugue hit the low blow and go for a bridging ladder suplex before his back gave out and then hit the Ejirocation for the finish. I think I've gotten over most of my dryness and commentary issues although I could still learn a thing or two about having one guy beating up the other as I tend to do a whole lot of back and forth action. I'm very much looking forward to my 'New Champion' promo now... it shall ROCK and I'm really not that much of the promo writer either. Now everyone comment and tell me how good I am. Fugue and Ejiro are my two favourite JLers right now, and no matter who won, I knew I'd be pleased. It so happens that Ejiro has set a new standard for himself, but so be it.
