Biggest band you've ever seen live

Recommended Posts

What's the most well known band you've seen live. Sadly having seen only 5 concerts(Two of which sucked, one OK concert, a pretty good concert and an awesome concert) the biggest band I've seen is Third Eye Blind. I went to a radio concert with Evan and Jaron(The first and only twin Jewish pop band), Samantha Mumba, some generic boyband, Dido, SoulDecision,Sister Hazel and Third Eye Blind was the headliner. God what an awful concert it was, anyway everyone marked out when Third Eye Blind got on stage....I guess everyone in my hometown really likes generic top 40 rock music. The reason I went to this concert was welll......I forgot why I went actually but I remember wondering why I went afterwards.

Limp Bizkit (oh dear), Run DMC, Foo Fighters.

But I'm gonna see Metallica in the summer, so they will take over at the top.

Guns N Roses was probably the biggest name band I saw. Saw Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins and shitty shitty shitty Red hot chili peppers too.

I saw Manson years ago. If nothing else, the dude can put on a fuckin' show, I'll definitely give him that. I'm pretty sure it was right after Antichrist Superstar came out. Absolutely rabid crowd, too.

He walked around the stage on those crazy stilts, got up behind a podium with the banners everywhere, etc. etc. Helmet opened for them, and were pretty decent, too.

Were you at Reading/Leeds?

I have seen Foo Fighters twice, Muse twice, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Manic Street Preachers, Placebo, Soil, Hell Is For Heroes, Inme, Rival Schools, The Offspring, NOFX, Less Than Jake and Puddle Of Mudd.

Slipknot were at Reading but I hate them so I sat down and put my music on to avoid them. I can't remember if they were on on the Saturday or the Sunday now either.

I guess it would be U2 back during their Achtung Baby tour (I think). Got in for free for working the Amnesty International booth. Oh to be young and full of ideals again...

Hey, I was at Reading too. Whole weekend, it was cool. Even if you don't like Slipknot(I think they're a bit of harmless schlocky fun) you've got to admire the energy they put out on stage.

Jeez, I forget to mention the biggest band I've ever seen period - U2, Elevation tour, sheer greatness.

Ok, I'll agree with that, but still they did sound a mess.

Linkin Park, an early version. In fact, when they came on the "stage", they were booed heavily. It was good laugh to see them perform in such a shitty highway town like the one i live in and get booed cause they were "nobodies."

I was at leeds this year, NOFX are the best band i've seen live, apart from Frank Black (duh) and offspring were terribly average, slipknot were actually better. Prodigy was a fuckin good show. The Night boat to cairo cover caught me off guard. Puddle of mudd, muse and amen should be rounded up and shot. Rammstein, American head charge and raging speedhorn is probably the biggest gig i've been to, and rammstein are just glorious.
