Was thinking of buying the show if the price is right. If anyone can help it'd be appreciated.

Come to thin of it, how much do ppv's cost in the states? We have to pay £15 over here in England, which i always thought was a lot. (Seen as you can go to Indy shows for that amount).

ChUnK!

WWE PPV's are $35 US and TNA are $10.

I've only purchased the las UFC PPV (Shamrock vs Tito) and it was $30.

I was hoping the new years show would be cheaper.

6 hours of the all-time best UFC matches is how they describe it.

6 Hours! WOW, that is good! And for $25. Thats about £15 isnt it?

WWE: Armageddon cost that in England. (Plus we have to pay £40 a month subscription to get the channels that carry the ppv's).

I think this would be a good time for me to make my first UFC purchase. One question how long do the acclaimed greatest fights typically last?

If i hand a second vcr I would, sorry.

This is still gonna be a kick ass show even if its just clips. I doubt it will be because finding and making 6 hours of clips would be brutal to any human.

LAS VEGAS, NV, December 17, 2002... For the eighth consecutive year, UFC is bringing viewers the ultimate pay-per-view party event on the ultimate night of the year: Ultimate New Year's Eve. UFC's annual six-hour fight show features the very best action and top UFC Mixed Martial Artists of the last 10 years. It will air on pay-per-view Tuesday, December 31, starting at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST.

"Ultimate New Years Eve" will be available on iN DEMAND, DIRECTV, Bell ExpressVu and Viewers Choice Canada for the suggested retail price of $24.95. An encore performance will begin immediately after the telecast.

This classic show will provide a memorable trip through UFC history and includes fights from UFC 1: The Beginning, held in November of 1993, right up to last month's UFC 40: Vendetta, which sold out the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Some "Ultimate Fights" from 2002 alone include "New York Bad Ass" Phil Baroni's war with Russian powerhouse Amar Suloev. Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell putting his number one contender status on the line against the dangerous Renato "Babalu" Sobral, and the fight many consider to be one of the best UFC fights of all time, "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler vs. Aaron Riley just seven months ago at UFC37: High Impact.

UFC legends like Don Frye, Mark Coleman, Bas Rutten, Tank Abbott, Frank Shamrock and Ken Shamrock, the latter of whom just fought Tito Ortiz for the light heavyweight title at UFC 40, are also featured. Ultimate Fighters like Lawler, Matt Hughes, BJ Penn, Vitor Belfort, Chuck Liddell, Murilo Bustamante, Randy Couture, Matt Serra, Ricco Rodriguez and, of course, Royce Gracie all make their way once again to the Octagon in these vivid highlights. As an added bonus for purchasers, the show will include three fights never before televised.

FUCK, I hate this non-digital cable screw job. Why is it that without digital cable they only have one PPV channel when there are about 20 other blank channels. And the one PPV channel is airing a god damn Tom Petty concert.

Something that pissed me off: In UFC 25, all they said was "It was all Ortiz (over Silva)" and it showed Ortiz slamming Silva. WTF? Ortiz was running away half the time, and he only won by Judge's Decision.

That's easy. Ortiz still fights for UFC, while Silva does not.
