Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted December 26, 2002 "Best" as in Funny, Stupid, Outrageous, or just Unbelievable My Favorite The Plane Ride From Hell. Some of the Stories that came from this were crazy at first. Brock and Hennig almost killing everyone. Triple H almost getting put through the Door also. Flair running around naked. X-pac cutting off Michael Hayes Mullet. Michael Hayes cutting promo's on everyone. Goldust drunk off his ass singing to Terri. Everyone saying Eddie, Hennig, Goldust, Flair, X-pac, Hall, etc were getting fired. This was the WWE best Storyline of the Year and it wasn't even past of the show. A few other Mentions. Stephanie getting credit for saving Jericho's Title Reign. The Whole Clique trying to take back over. Austin refusing to job to Hall and fucking up the whole Brand Extension. "I'm Not Feeling It" - - - Undertaker Big Show getting a Major Push. (Yeah, like anyone actually believed that one) Any Triple H Rumor. Come on, some of them are Ridiculous
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 26, 2002 When was "I'm not feeling it" Taker. But the Plane Flight ruled. I saw an article about it one of the tabloids. I wrote into WOL and said they should've scrapped Judgement Day and shown the flight instead. I think Vince punished the RAW roster by sending them to India
Guest Brian Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Brock and Hennig hit the door but it was probably greatly exagerrated. X-Pac probably was the one who cut off Hayes' mullet, and Hayes did yell at everyone. Golddust did sing to Terri. How did Austin "fuck up" the brand extension. Bopth shows were in better shape when he was around. What's so bad about the Undertaker thing?
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Yea- X-Pac did cut the mullet. Didn't Hayes bust Bradshaw open?
Guest Brian Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Nothing was ever confirmed, but X-Pac took credit for it.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Brock and Hennig hit the door but it was probably greatly exagerrated. Oh boy....we heard everything under the sun with this fight. To this day, I don't think anyone knows all the details (although I'm probably mistaken). Let's see....we heard Triple H broke up the fight and almost fell out of the plane....JR doing nothing while this was going on...etc, etc. Oddly enough, I read that Eddie Guerrero and Scott Hall barely did anything wrong. I heard that Eddie was "the perfect gentleman" and Scott mostly slept through it. That's what I READ....I don't claim it to be fact.
Guest Brian Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Thta's the full story Meltzer and Keller gave. Eddie just sat there and stayed out of the way, never touching any alcohol, and Hall slept through most of it.
Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted December 26, 2002 When was "I'm not feeling it" Taker. The first Taker/Brock match, that ended in Double DQ. It was supposed to be Brock cheating to win, then Taker getting his heat back after the match, but he nixed it
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted December 26, 2002 How did Austin "fuck up" the brand extension. Both shows were in better shape when he was around. What's so bad about the Undertaker thing? Hey, I said best "Rumor." These aren't my Theory's Observer or 1Wrestling said Austin refused to do the job which would have had Vince do a Run in and cost Austin the match to Hall at WM. Some how setting up the Roster Split. Also Observer or 1Wrestling saying Taker's way of getting out of jobbing to Brock was him saying "I'm Not Feeling it." Which got the whole Match changed to Taker pretty much squashing Brock.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Eddie just sat there and stayed out of the way, never touching any alcohol, and Hall slept through most of it. And yet, Hall was fired or quit the next night. He said in an interview that he and WWE "mutually agreed to part ways"...which would make sense. From what he said, he only expected to make it through Wrestlemania and he made it through Backlash....so, I think both himself and Hogan worked over what they were supposed to. Nash.....well, he just showed up at the places and talked.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Oh, but there were so many this year: Austin being suspended. It couldn't be true, could it? OH NO! Austin is beating his wife? Does Meltzer have any source on this? It must be internet rumor. UH OH! They couldn't really put the title on Big Show, will they? THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD. They taped footage of HHH performing fake sex on a fake corpse? You're kidding me... OOPS. Honorable mentions go to the story of the wacky Tough Enough stalker, the Eric Bischoff Is Gaining Power story, and the Paul Heyman Is Holding Guys Down accusation (was made when they cut a bunch of HWA guys)
Guest notJames Report post Posted December 26, 2002 HHH and UT's "backstage pep talk" will always stand out in my mind as the height of hypocrisy. Assholes.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted December 26, 2002 LoL!!!! I forgot about Triple H's Raw Pep Talk. Him telling guys like Benoit and Eddie they need to learn how to work. Classic.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Him telling guys like Benoit and Eddie they need to learn how to work. Classic. Actually, I think it was that they needed to give it 100% at the House Shows to bring attendance back up. HHH's house show schedule is/was rather light to say the least. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Honorable mentions go to the story of the wacky Tough Enough stalker Actually, I think this one is true. Lisa (I think that's her name) started stalking Al Snow (who wouldn't??), claiming to be his assisstant or something like that.

Yeah...Zenk pointed out a long stretch where he had Saturdays off. Date night with Steph, after all. During that time, RVD main evented. Of course, he was often main eventing anyway during the Kane/Triple H fued since no one would stay to watch that for a main event.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Trish claimed the whole pep talk was blown out of proportion. Heyman: Okay- Taker- we want you to do the job to Brock to make him a big star. Kinda like the matches v. Rock and v. Hogan. Don't worry-you won't be hurt at all by doing the job and it'll make Brock look like a lot better. Taker: I'm just not feeling it. Oh man- that sounds hilarious

Oh man- that sounds hilarious Not quite, Bob. It was more like: Paul: "Okay, Taker, we're working a two month program here. In order to get people interested, we have to make them think you can actually lose, although you WON'T this month." Taker: "I'm not feeling it tonight... Let's do what we always do to elevate talent, have me get all my offense in then they get a merciful DQ or weird win... like how I elevated Angle as the champ a few years back." Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted December 26, 2002 the best "rumor" that has yet to be mentioned is that Albert was being pushed over Mattitude so that Taker can have someone to feud with when he returns...C'mon seriously, A-Train?

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted December 27, 2002 1. X-Pac refusing to job on Heat and getting fired shortly aftewards. What was he worried about, losing his heat? If you're wrestling on Heat in the first place, it's because you have no heat to lose. And it's not like anyone watches Heat, so there'd be few witnesses to the heat being lost. 2. Jericho being blamed for the HHH-Jericho-Stephanie storyline not working. 3. Kevin Nash being mad a Gerwertz because he was "ready" to wrestle on the night he got injured, and that somehow leading to his current injury. So how does a sore arm make you tear your quad? 4. Raven and Matt Hardy being punished for objectively criticizing the product. 5. Vince McMahon firing the "continuity consultant" for pointing out too many plot holes.
