Guest Flyboy Posted December 27, 2002 Report Posted December 27, 2002 A woman as the villain? Talk about SWERVE~!
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted December 27, 2002 Report Posted December 27, 2002 "She'll be back"
Guest Flyboy Posted December 27, 2002 Report Posted December 27, 2002 "She'll be back" That line sounded extremely ghey.
Guest Lethargic Posted December 27, 2002 Report Posted December 27, 2002 Here's a link to the quicktime version of the trailer that went up two weeks ago instead of the crappy real audio version. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/t3/
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted December 27, 2002 Report Posted December 27, 2002 "She'll be back" That line sounded extremely ghey. Yes, it did.

By the way... ...that last line, yeah, it was WAY cheesy.
Guest El Satanico Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 A woman as the villain? Talk about SWERVE~! Swerve? um...It was a well known fact that they were casting a female as the villian.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 Wasn't Chyna originally supposed to be in the running to be the female villain? Im still mad that I didn't get to see the trailer before LotR:TT, my connection is too slow to download anything like this...
Guest El Satanico Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 I saw it on one of those entertainment news shows. I wasn't all that impressed by it. It's just a prettier version of the original with cheesy lines referring to the other movies. That using cheesy lines in reference to past movies thing pisses me off when it's not a parody movie. It just reeks of another lame attempt by Ahnold to recapture past glories. Your career is dead and you can never recapture your glory years so just accept it Arny and move the hell on.
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 I saw this trailer at The Two Towers. It looks decent, but I'll keep my expectations low. I'm a huge Arnie mark, so I'm seeing it for sure, and most likely I'll love it, since I love pretty much everything he's done.

Guest Lethargic Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 I'm hoping it's better than the second one at least. I like this director a lot more than James Cameron. If Cameron was doing it I doubt I'd even give it a chance. At least Terminator doesn't look like he'll be too gay in this one like he was in the second movie.
Guest kane3212321 Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 I seriously thought that they were leading up to a punch line when he was looking at John Connor and when the narrator was talking about the T-X. I expected her to turn around and say somthing ridiculous.
Guest papacita Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 Wasn't Chyna originally supposed to be in the running to be the female villain? Yes she was, and I will be boycotting this movie out of protest. Power to the people...*ahem*

I don't keep up with movies like you do. Hell, I didn't even know there was a T3 until about 2 weeks ago.

Are you serious ? There's been talk of T3 for years.

Breakdown is one of my favourite films.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted December 28, 2002 Report Posted December 28, 2002 I'm not sure about Nick Stahl...I'd prefer Edward Furlong anyday of the week.
Guest Lethargic Posted December 29, 2002 Report Posted December 29, 2002 I'm not sure about Nick Stahl...I'd prefer Edward Furlong anyday of the week. He's too busy smoking crack.
Guest red_file Posted December 29, 2002 Report Posted December 29, 2002 He's too busy smoking crack. Had you the responsibility of having the world from an army of killer robots...
Guest Lethargic Posted December 29, 2002 Report Posted December 29, 2002 Hmmmm...I sent my own father back in time to impregnant my mother....but...how could I send my OWN father back in time because if I didn't do that I wouldn't have been born....ah, screw it, pass the pipe.
Guest EQ Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Hmmmm...I sent my own father back in time to impregnant my mother....but...how could I send my OWN father back in time because if I didn't do that I wouldn't have been born....ah, screw it, pass the pipe. It's things like this that make me love time travel crap. I think it's interesting as hell. Anyway, T3 looks good to me. I'll definately go see it and will probably buy the DVD.
The Dames Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I find that funny, EQ. I've become the same way with certain movies where I've made the decision to purchase it on DVD before I've even seen it. LOTR: ROTK is already number 1 on my DVD Wish List, T3, Matrix 2 & 3 as well as some others. Dames
cawthon777 Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 The Terminator series has so much potential and so many possibilities...I hope they don't blow it. Keep it dark, make sure the writing is there, and...wait, a woman is the bad guy? ...Oh well.
