Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2002 "Looking Through the Crystal Ball" - pg. 34 1 Edge will suffer a great number of humiliating defeats during the early part of the year, leading scores of fans to turn their backs on the beloved Canadian Superstar. The only way Edge will be able to stop this downward spiral will be to enlist the help of a close family member. Once a great tandem from the past is reunited, a rejuvenated Edge will return to his winning ways and capture an unprecedented 10th Tag Team Championship 2 After finally winning the Tag Team Championship, Goldust will celebrate by indulging in a little too much champagne, leading him to reveal his true feelings for a trusted tag team partner. But when his unwilling protege refuses to partake in the second commitment ceremony in WWE, Goldust will take a leave of abscence to reassess his career. Upon returning to the ring, Goldust will recognize his heritage and finally live the "American Dream" credit 3 During his spare time, Rico will begin writing his first self-help book, entitled What's Wrong With You People?, providing assistance to individuals who have overdosed on body art to the point where they look rediculous. Rico's attention will then turn to a certain WWE Superstar whose extreme attitude and dress attire set a bad example in children's fashion. Two good beatings with the use of his educated feet will convince this superstar to consider dressing a little more professionally when he comes to work So what does everyone think about these interesting tidbits? Most probably won't happen, but then again......Here's my thoughts. 1. Since I missed most of E&C the first time, I wouldn't mind seeing them reform! Besides that, they always got good crowd heel heat/face pops, so it should reek of awesomeness! 2. Iiiiiiiinteresting, to say the least. Again, doubt it will happen, BUT....can you imagine Goldy drunk? Now that would be a sight to see....even if it is drunk-acting.... 3. I'm thinking the management want Jeff to cut down on the paint....but since neither he nor Rico have anything to do, hey, why not make it a storyline? Rico is so great with his facial expressions and on the mic... he plays the foppishly-stressed-out-near-to-a-nervous-breakdown-stylist perfectly, and Jeff is.......well, he has the whole RVD laid back kinda attitude. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2002 I know..... still, I'm curious to know what everyone thinks about it if it DID happen.... And hopefully you're right. Because he mentions Triple H's "old flame" giving him hell, then the two team up, to give HHH more power..... Edit: Goldy in polka-dots?? *runs and hides*

Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted December 29, 2002 The informer hasn't given away actual hints since Vince Russo left. Since he wrote television and was the informer he would give hints of what was to come. Now they just have some punk editor guessing

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 30, 2002 That's nothing...you should have seen his father when he did that. *runs further away and hides some more* Does that mean we shouldn't be expecting any "slash" featuring Dusty Rhodes from you? I could go for some Dusty Rhodes/Harley Race "slash" action. And by go for i don't mean it as in...oh hell forget it.

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I'll rather see Rico's book of styling. He's a funny guy...he should have more promos. Completely, 100% agrees. Even people didn't enjoy the B & C wedding, I'm sure they all got a chuckle out of his mic work.. "These are tulips, I ordered pansys! And who put the garlic this way?? I wanted HANGING garlic.... *looks at the wood* This isn't Mahagony! I ordered Mahagony! Oh, GAWD, I got a headache the size of long island".. I have the whole thing taped, so I know almost every line by heart

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Hey, it's slashy..of course I'd remember it! Naw, but really, I've kept tapes ever since last year's rumble. I remember his debut quite well... Chuck: Are you sure abuot this, I mean, hiring Rico and all? I heard he's real tough! Billy: Hey, he's tough, but the fact is...oh, hold on here he comes! *Rico walks in to give B &C the GLARE OF DOOOOM~! * Rico: I don't know how you two guys live with yourselves. Billy: We were just- Rico: SILENCE! I mean these headbands...totally crooked. And this color scheme...totally passe. We are going to undergo a COMPLETE fully body makeover, IMMEDIATELY after you beat the Hardyz. Now get your robes.. *walks off* Unbelievable! How can I work with this? Billy: Wow, he's tough..but he's the best stylist money can buy... Chuck: What about these colors...do they really look passe? Billy: I - I don't know... Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted December 31, 2002 How about RVD's prediction: "One of RVD'S "old friends" is carefully watching "Mr. Monday Night's" offensive repertoire. And while this "Extreme" star may have only appeared once on WWE programming, he will undoubtedly make an immediate impact by putting Van Dam on the shelf for a short while. Once healed and refocused, RVD will dispose of his foe by defeating him in one of the most brutal matches ever seen on television." Are they talking about the hiring of the homicidal, suicidal, death defying Sabu?????

Guest Celtic Jobber Report post Posted January 2, 2003 This is from the Informer section of the January 2003 WWE Magazine (but I got it from a wrestling newsboard...): Triple H: Apparently HHH's biggest challenge won't occur in the ring. An ex-flame with her mind set on making The Game's life a living hell, will come forward with wild speculations that will shake his resolve to its foundation. However, this impediment will only be temporary, and in the end, HHH will have more power than he imagined. Brock Lesnar & Kurt Angle: Angle will consider a run at the 2004 Olympics, but the challenge of dethroning a former NCAA and WWE Champion will keep him in the ring. After two separate showdowns fail to determine a clear-cut winner, Angle and Lesnar will sign a waiver allowing them to compete in the WWE's first-ever amateur mat classic. What makes this battle more compelling is that the fans' loyalties will lie firmly behind the American Hero. Hulk Hogan: After initially returning to the WWE in search of revenge, Hulk Hogan will be sidetracked by a figure from his past. Once this old nemesis is thwarted, Hogan will again rise to prominence before putting everything on the line in one final dream showdown at the greatest show in sports-entertainment. If our calculations are correct, fans will be stunned by who the Hulkster's opponent is in what will undoubtedly be the match to determine the biggest star in WWE history. The Rock: This is going to be a strange year for The Great One. Apparently the boos and hisses heard at SummerSlam were just a sample of what lies ahead for The Rock. Don't be surprised if The Rock is the most hated man in the WWE. And to make it worse, a certain giant will issue a bounty for the Brahma Bull's head. Undertaker: After failing to recapture the WWE title early in the year, Undertaker will find that securing his yard is a lot easier when you have someone watching your back. An unholy partnership will form as Big Evil enlists the aid of a few mercenaries to assist him on his path of destruction. Before the year is over, Taker will make an announcement so shocking, it will rock the world. Y2J: In the coming year, Y2J will become an even bigger rock star. Fozzy will release two CDs and both will go platinum, leading the group to a world tour. But the out-of-ring success will only make The King Of The World hungrier. Once all of his attention is focused on the World Title, Jericho will revert to some of his old tricks by finding a significant loophole in the WWE rulebook-one large enough to ensure him another lengthy title reign. Lita: In the comeback of the year, Lita will return to WWE in early 2003, while quickly revolutionizing the Women's Division for the second time. Yet around The 4th Of July, Lita will be forced to choose between her desire to compete and her love for a close one. Booker T: Booker will capitalize on the popularity of the Spin-A-Roony by opening a chain of dance clubs. As the checks pour in from Hollywood movie stars requesting personal dance lessons, Booker will be forced to work a part-time schedule in WWE. Perhaps the popularity of the Spin-A-Roony will prompt a certain Deadman to do the first ever Taker-Roony, but don't count on it. Goldust: After finally winning the Tag Team Titles, Goldust will celebrate by indulging in a little too much champagne, leading him to reveal his true feelings for a trusted tag partner. But when his unwilling protege refuses to partake in the second commitment ceremony in WWE, Goldust will take a leave of absence to reassess his career. Upon his return to the ring, Goldust will recognize his heritage and finally live the American Dream. Edge & Christian: Edge will suffer a great deal of defeats during the early part of the year, leading scores of fans to turn their back on the beloved Canadian Superstar. The only way Edge will be able to stop this downward spiral will be to enlist the help of a close family member. Once a great tandem from the past is reunited, a rejuvenated Edge will return to his winning ways and capture his 10th Tag Team Championship. Kane: Kane's personal life will take a turn for the worse when another demon from his past is revealed-only this secret will be so horrific that even the most biggest Kane-n-ites will turn their back on The Big Red Machine. All this pent up frustration will only serve to make the already mentally unbalanced Kane even more dangerous. Unfortunately things may get so out of hand that the only way spectators will be able to see Kane will be to buy tickets to the circus. Kevin Nash: Big Sexy will silence the critics by returning from his quad injury in the best shape of his life-and months ahead of schedule. But when Nash tries to put the "band" back together, he will have to do it alone. One-by-one the seven footer will dismantle former friends who refused to run with his pack, all while amassing an impressive string of victories. Before the year is through, Nash's waist will shine with Gold. Batista: Batista will become the most valuable Superstar on the WWE roster. He will have defeated almost every major player in the company and will have sent a legend into retirement. Rob Van Dam: One of RVD's old friends is carefully watching RVD's offensive repertoire. And while this Xtreme star may have only appeared once on WWE TV, he will undoubtedly make an immediate impact by putting RVD on the shelf for a short while. Once healed and refocused, Van Dam will dispose of his foe by defeating him in ONE OF THE MOST BRUTAL MATCHES EVER SEEN ON TV. Johnny Stamboli: During the year, people will learn that Stamboli has a lot more pull around WWE than meets the eye. Through various backstage dealings with top brass, Johnny will actually inherit a share of the company. Using this as his leverage, Stamboli will start bringing some of his "boys" into the company. Stephanie McMahon & Eric Bischoff: This year is certainly gonna be unlike previous years in WWE. With some superstars feeling like they have been pawns for the GM's constant games of one-upmanship, a strike deadline will be set. This renegade group will be unique in the company's history and will attempt to bring the WWE's leaders to their knees. The political unrest will actually cause the two GMs to unite, but their newfound association will only make things worse. Eventually the CEO will have to step in and appoint a former WWE Legend as a Commissioner to oversee the two brands. This take-no-prisoners Commish will attempt to put the tension to rest and bring the company to peace.
