People who you thought where going to win Tough E.

Before Tough Enough 1 ended I thought Chris and Taylor where going to win and before Tough Enough 2 ended I thought Jake and Linda where going to win. I thought Jake had the thing won. I thought he would have been a good heel. I think Al Snow didn't like Jake's attitude and that's the reason why he didn't win.

I think Jake didn't win because WWE were, at the time, starting a nice little Women's Division, and felt the need for more women wrestlers. Also, Jake was a real slow learner.

 

I'm almost certain that Jonah and Matt are winning TE3. For TE1, I thought Josh and Maven. Half-right. For TE2, I figured...shit, I forgot the other male finalist's name...but I figured him (NOT Jake) and Linda.

Tough Enough 1: I thought it was almost set that Josh was winning. It seemed like throughout the whole editing process that they were trying to get the watchers on his side, but then dropped it. As for women, I thought Nidia was going to win. Taylor just wasn't unique enough for them and the blond-haired chicks they got in Trish, Stacy, and Torrie just surpass Taylor in every category. At least Nidia was something new.

 

Tough Enough 2: Jake, because of Vince's hoss-fetish, and Jackie. I thought the WWE would love to go through that whole "Cinderella hurt her knee but won the contest" story. I guess that WWE method of thinking didn't work out to well, huh ?

 

Tough Enough 3: I see Jonah and John winning. I don't see how John can be ignored, unless he gets injured, because he has so much natural ability. Meanwhile, Jonah has a lot of personality and I don't think they'll ignore that either.

 

I can safely say that the winners of Tough Enough 3 SHOULD be at least better than the winners of Tough Enough 2.

I thought from day one Jake would win. He must have been completely atrocious in the ring and they did some editing to make him look decent. If he had any ability at all with his look they would have taken him.

 

I knew Jackie would win because of her diva look then once she wrestled with a torn ACL she was a lock.

I'm thinkin' Matt and Jonah for TE3. Jonah, because like earlier mentioned, he has good personality. Matt..because he looks like a Hardy and perhaps with him taking Jeff's place, Jeff could take a break. Besides, Matt v1 vs Matt v2!

Whichever of the three (John, Jonah, and Matt) that doesn't win will probably get a developmental contract.

 

If he hadn't gotten hurt last yeat that Matt guy would've won, they signed him up right away. You know JR was creaming himself over that guy. That's one of the reasons that Jonah will win.

had he made it past the physical, or drug test or whatever it was before the cast moved into the house on TE2.. I think Shad would have made it... if u dont remember him he was this black guy that had a very very nice build, but both he and Hawk would win...

 

from TE1 i thought that Taylor and Maven would win.. and from TE3 I had initially thought Scott would get by all the ridicule of him early on.. but since he's gone, of the remaining people I think it'll be Matt and Eric

I think Jonah's going to quit.

 

Matt and John were my picks from the beginning, so I still foresee that.

 

The vanilla tall guys (Eric and Justin) will get cut, Jamie will get cut or injured.

 

TE1- I thought Maven and Taylor. I DID call Maven from the beginning, and hoped that Taylor would win.

 

TE2- I stopped caring after Pete nailed Jackie in the hot tub. It became too "Real World" for me.

 

TE3- John and Matt.....

Well, I heard the voting for the winners of TE3 will be done online by the viewers. With that in mind, I'll say John and Jamie (Jonah will quit, Matt will get a developmental contract since he really seems to know how to approach the profession with his comments and lack of f'ing up footage).

TE1: I was pretty sure Maven was going to win, but I thought WWE would take Taylor over Nidia.

 

TE2: I picked Jake (based on the look that WWE loves) and Jackie after continuing to train with the injury. I've said it several times already, but I never understood why Jackie wasn't pushed as the face after her comeback and Linda pushed as the heel based on her demeanor during TE2. But after the infamous match I suppose that point is moot. And to the person asking about Jessie, I believe she had to leave early due to a medical problem (irregular heartbeat I think) but WWE offered her a job working on the production side of things.

 

TE3: I'm going to go with Matt and John. Matt because he has the look, and John because he's already developing a moveset that would make him kind of unique (high-flyer as opposed to hoss) and could get him over pretty quick.

With all the other TE1 finalists having jobs, I really wish that they picked up Taylor too. She's working in Japan for ARSION right now, but I don't follow joshi- can some puro dudes enlighten me on how she's doing? I really wanted her to win, just to spite her parents who said what she was doing was pointless, and she seemed to really love wrestling.

If Greg hadn't been hurt, he would have been the most successful thing to come out of that show. The guy had a natural acumen for the business.

Brian, why do you say that? And what do you think of how he is now? I haven't seen him anywhere in a while.

 

I'd like to see Taylor picked up by the WWE eventually.

 

And to the person who mentioned Jessie, she works for the WWE in the production department.

 

I was going to say they made a good choice in not taking Jake, but then again, look who they got. He was supposed to be an asshole at a few independent shows he worked, and I don't think he's even wrestling anymore. Plus he sounded like a bitch on Confidential with all the whining he did after he lost.

 

Besides those with the WWE, the only ones that still wrestle, to my knowledge, are Taylor and Greg (TE1). I think Pete, Danny the Danimal and Kenny (all TE2) worked some shows, but I don't know if they're still active.

 

For TE3, I think it's Matt and John. John seems a lock, and they haven't given much focus to Matt, so I'm thinking he's making it to the very end. I like Jonah more than Matt, but I don't think he really wants it enough. If he makes it to the end though, I see him at least with a developmental contract. I like Jamie and would want her to win behind Jonah and John, but something tells me she's not gonna. Eric is a dark horse because of those good looks of his. Justin is just there and is destined to be a loser.

 

And does anyone know what happened to Hawk?

Greg just naturally understood the business more than the others did. Selling for Triple H that one show. Appreciating guys. Being smart and well built. The WWE would have loved to have had him win.
