Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Here's the lineup from WWE.com: The last RAW of 2002 is actually a joint production of RAW and SmackDown!, featuring the best matches from both those shows, as well as from WWE pay-per-views, throughout the year! Catch it this Monday night on the new TNN at 9/8 CT. Who could forget The Rock battling Hollywood Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania X8? Relive "Icon vs. Icon" this Monday night! You'll also see another unforgettable battle from the following month's pay-per-view, Backlash, when Kurt Angle stepped into the ring against Edge. The show will also feature arguably the greatest matches of 2002 from RAW (TLC IV from Oct. 7 in Las Vegas) and SmackDown! (the Ladder Match between Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero from Sept. 26 in San Diego). Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match on the July 1 episode of RAW from Manchester, N.H., was also a match-of-the-year candidate, and you'll see that as well. This year's SummerSlam was possibly the greatest in the entire history of the August pay-per-view tradition. We've got three of the outstanding matches from the event: Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle, Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a Street Fight, and The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. Don't miss RAW when it kicks off at 9/8 CT on the new I thought it was going to be only Rock Vs Hogan and the TLC match with a bunch of clips of angles, but it seems like they are just going to up and pack it with quality wrestling. Sounds good to me. I just hope they aren't chopped up.
Guest LatinoHeat Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I just hope they aren't chopped up. Matches on "best of" shows are always chopped up.
Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match on the July 1 episode of RAW from Manchester, N.H., was also a match-of-the-year candidate They're showing that Raw ladder match over Eddie/RVD? Fuck them.
Guest Mole Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I'll watch the show just because I never miss a Raw. Plus, I'd like to see some of those matches, even though they will be clipped. I'd like to watch the TLC match from Raw clipped, that way we don't have to go through the boring switching spot periods. Atleast there isn't any bra and panty matches, nor any women's matches. Because there wasn't a women's match that is granted 'Best Of,' IMHO.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted December 30, 2002 well...eddie/edge was a better match than eddie/rvd, & i think they opted not to choose it cause it would be 2 matches on the same show with eddie and a ladder, possibly making it seem repetitive. i'm not saying hardy/taker is a good substitute by any means (cause it's NOT--why the fuck isn't benoit/angle there?), but that's just probably why eddie/rvd got snubbed. Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Point taken, even though I personally liked RVD vs. Eddy better. But that Eddy vs. Edge match wasn't a ladder match, but I still see your point.
Guest ARazz Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Is this going to be a 2 or 3 hour Raw? cos last year i think it was 3.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Is this going to be a 2 or 3 hour Raw? cos last year i think it was 3. Probably only 2 hour... Last year was 3 hour because it was on New Year's Eve. This year, it doesn't have such a luxury.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted December 30, 2002 They are showing the two matches where The Rock was booed bigtime. He's expected back soon. This would be a great way to play it up and then bring him in as a heel.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted December 30, 2002 They'll probably edit out the booing like I heard they did on some DVDs.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I wish they would have put one of the tags on there, because I didn't see the PPV ones and I would've been happy seeing at least one of the o-so revered matches.
The Dames 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 They'll probably edit out the booing like I heard they did on some DVDs. I've got both WM and SS on DVD and the Rock's boos were not edited. Dames
Guest Mole Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I was about to say. Editing out the boos would be a big mistake.
Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Apparently they realized that showing just the Best of RAW would only get them to the end of the opening segment.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Ugh, I went to WWE.com and the picture for this Headline is Kane Grabbing the Tag Belts from "TLC is Raw." I wonder if we'll get the "Kane, you are a murderer" after they show the TLC match?

This would be a great way to play it up and then bring him in as a heel. i still say they should've kept angle face & had rocky steal the title from him, leading to babyface angle v. heel rocky at wrestlemania. would've escalated angle into superstardom, made for great television in the weeks leading up to it, been a great fucking match (better than angle v. lesnar), and drawn MILLIONS and MILLIONS of dollars. Guest Mole Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Yea dog, that is a good idea. Which match do you think will be last? I'm going with Rock/Hogan, because duh.
Guest Brian Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Yeah, it would be just like the WWE to hype the two guys not currently performing with the company.
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 I'm hoping most of the Guerrero- Edge match is shown, but those hopes are very very low.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted December 31, 2002 Yea dog, that is a good idea. Which match do you think will be last? I'm going with Rock/Hogan, because duh. It didn't even main event Wrestlemania, so I'd think one of the HHH/HBK matches might be last, considering who are in it, the quality of the match (at least the SumSlam one), and it actually had two "Raw" wrestlers in it. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2002 I wonder if they'll do some of the WORST matches...like maybe...Jackie Gayda's match? >=)
