Coffee Crisp no longer sold in U.S.?

Recommended Posts

OK. As a child growing up in Montreal, there were few pleasures in life like heading to Jean Coutu and buying a Coffee Crisp. I even loved the orange-flavored kind that was sold in those boxes. So naturally, when I saw them being sold at a candy store down on Chambers St. a couple of years ago, I was in Mark-Out City.

But all of a sudden, I've noticed that this delicious candy bar is no longer being sold in any of the places I go to. Wassupwitdat? Are they still being sold where you guys are (provided you live in the U.S.)? Any other Coffee Crisp fans here?

I should petition to have Aero distributed here as well.

I didn't think they sold Coffee Crisp anywhere in the States. But if you MUST get your fix, check out this site. They've got Ketchup and All Dressed chips, Tim Horton's coffee, etc. Shipping's a wee (and by wee I mean 'holy shit that's a lot') bit pricey though.

Those Hostess Ketchup chips would be very tempting if it weren't for a local store that already makes their own ketchup chips. The fact that they sell Aero bars and Smarties is pretty awesome though.

Hell yeah. Most of my summers there were spent at Jean Coutu or buying candy/popsicles & peeking at porno mags at Provi-Soir. Damn, that's another thing you don't find here. 10-cent popsicles.

I love Coffee Crisp as well and whenever my Dad goes up to Pt. Roberts (has to go through the Great White North) I have him pick me up a few. Mmmmm..... Coffee Crisp.

I never realized what kinds of shit aren't available in the US. I'm kind of proud to be Canadian now that I know that we have the best munchies.

The U.S. does have a superior version of Fruity Pebbles. They may have changed things since I last tried it in Canada, but when I was there, they were basically a poor man's Trix and didn't taste that great. Here, they resemble multicolored Special K, and they're really awesome.

Holy crap... I'm looking at that site seeing all the stuff you can't get in America and I am so glad that I am Canadian.
