Guest YouDaFoo Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I use to think WM9 was the best PPV ever, Crush Vs. Doink was my favorite fued ever.
Guest BAR Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 Bret Hart vs. Shanw Michaels - WWF WrestleMania XII, used to be my favourite match of all time. Now that's embarassing.
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I mark for Scott Norton.
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I thought the Undertaker angle at Royal Rumble 1994 was cool.
Guest kingkamala Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I thought Adam Bomb should have gotten a WWF title shot at Diesel on a PPV
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I predicted Hogan-Ramon main eventing SSlam '93.
Yuna_Firerose Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I used to cheer for SC and marked out for Rock embarassing Vinny Mac when he closed the "Kiss My Ass club". Plus, I used to think wrestling was real. This was around the time I started watching last year.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I was afriad of masked guys for ever! It was because of the black scorpion. [i was a young mark]
J.B. Buzzkill Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I thought Great American Bash '91 was a good PPV. I also thought 'Taker really was weak w/o his urn
Guest kingkamala Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I used to cheer for SC If your talking Stone Cold from 96-November 2001 there ain't nothing wrong with that.
Yuna_Firerose Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 If your talking Stone Cold from 96-November 2001 there ain't nothing wrong with that. No, I only meant when I first started watching, which was December '01.
Guest Flyboy Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 I feared the Undertaker. I was, too. Mine would be: One of the Bushwackers licked my cheek.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 When I was 10, I bet a classmate $5 that The Beverly Brothers would beat The Natural Disasters for The Tag Titles at SummerSlam 1992. My reasoning: Well the other two title matches were "good guy vs. good guy" (Savage/Warrior & DBS/Hart), so I figured there was no way there'd be ALL "good guy" champs. Well, I lost the bet but my theory kind of held up when Ric Flair won the WWF Championship a week or so later.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I marked out when Sid beat "Sting" for the WCW title ... that time when it was Windham with his hair cut to look like Sting. Never mind they had two different body types and everything. Just the fact that I marked out for Sid?!? Jeez, Flair, how dare you make me such a Horseman mark!
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I was the biggest Brutus Beefcake mark in the world when I was younger and I loved nothing more that seeing him put a man down with the sleeper and then cut his f'n hair off. For nostalga reasons I am still a fan but I'm not a fan of any of his other past gimmicks.
Guest HartFan86 Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 I used to think Taker vs. Austin @ Summerslam 1998 was *****. Swear to god. Then I got on the internet in early 1999 and that changed.
Guest Sturgis Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 I was scared shitless at RR '94 when that UT angle happend. Looking back at it I'm STILL scared
Guest Bricks Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 I cried like a baby and threw a tantrum when Randy Savage beat Ric Flair by cheating at WrestleMania VIII... ...which is more embarrassing because I watched it on tape and already knew the result! Oh yeah, I too, thought the Undertaker resurrecting at the 1994 Royal Rumble was cool.
Guest Jack Tunney Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 When I was a little kid I booked an angle with my hasbro figures where Randy Savage killed a jobber (played by a Big John Stud thumb wrestler) with his elbow drop.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 I marked hard as hell for the Repo Man, I used to walk around saying his catch phrase "What's mine is mine, what's yours is mine" and doing a bad imitation of Razor Ramon, "Eem Razor Ramon and eem goin' to keek yo' face een." I was like in the sixth grade.
Guest crandamaniac Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 I thought the Black Scorpion and Papa Shango were the best gimmicks in the world
Guest IndyGirlDani Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 (edited) When I started to watch wrestling -- back around 1987, I was also the biggest Brutus Beefcake mark [hence it being mentioned elsewhere on this thread] ... I also was scared to death of the Black Scorpion ... Hey, What did I know, I was 9! lol Dani Edited May 28, 2003 by IndyGirlDani
Guest ShooterJay Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 Actually *bowing* when I met Bret Hart a couple of years ago, and pretty much stammering every word I said to him.
Guest Bannable Offense Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 I wrote a letter to GamePro complaining about them calling wrestling fake in their review of WWF WrestleMania Challenge for the Nintendo. Ah, my days as a naive little ten year old.
Guest tank_abbott Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 I was scared of Kamala in 93 (I was 11!) I cried when Slaughter burned Hogan in 91 I thought Kurt Angle would be a flop (based on the vigenettes) I thought Hawk was really drunk in that 98 storyline (15 years old!) I was a Diesel fan back in the day...
Guest Pigsy Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 I enjoyed the Taker-Giant Gonzalez feud. (I was nine or ten - not that that's an excuse).
Guest tank_abbott Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 I was the biggest Brutus Beefcake mark in the world when I was younger and I loved nothing more that seeing him put a man down with the sleeper and then cut his f'n hair off. For nostalga reasons I am still a fan but I'm not a fan of any of his other past gimmicks. Brutus was actually a pretty decent worker from 1989- up to the accident... he was booked aganist Mr. Perfect, Rick Martel, Ted Dibiase, Rick Rude and Randy Savage alot, so it would be kind of hard to put on crappy matches...
