Avril Lavigne: Pushed some old teen idols out of the spotlight. Sum 41: A few songs of theirs I can tolerate*sheilds self from flaming garbage* Limp Bizkit: Nope. Linkin Park: *awaits flaming* I think a few song of theirs are tolerable. Korn: Used to be tolerable. Slipknot: Wait and Bleed is tolerable ICP: Hillarious wrestling commentary. They admit they suck. Lil Bow Wow: Stays strictly for kids, doesn't try to make music for adults basically. Christina Aguilara: Used to be hot before she became superslut. Sum 41 - Their songs are tolerable for the short minutes they are on the radio. Limp Bizkit - Sam Rivers is a good bassist. Linkin Park -I met the guy who played bass on the record and he was nice. Korn - They've made (directly and indirectly) alot of people alot of money. Slipknot - Were just what the members needed to get recognized so that some could play in other (more competent) bands that I can hear about and listen to. ICP - Some of their songs are funny. Lil Bow Wow - He's the pivot point in my arguments that no matter how bad it gets for us rock fans, the rap fans will live with infiniatly more humiliation. Limp Bizkit: Well I've reciently felt that...FUCK FRED DURST! I will never have anything good to say about this shitband. Linkin Park: Bleh, Limp Bizkit #2, minus the asshole lead singer. Korn: They're good at what they do...doesn't do much for me though. Slipknot: Wait and Bleed is almost a cool song, till they start yelling stuff you can't understand. Sum 41 - not as punk as they pretend they are (well, maybe they are in Canada, but not here) Limp Bizkit - one of the most overrated bands of the 90s Linkin Park - crap. Korn - were good years ago; I wish they had broken up 2 albums ago. Slipknot - the whole mask/number thing was a cool idea. ICP - crap Lil Bow Wow - no opinion Christina Aguilara - I find her unbelievable sexy. Amazingly, the most positive things that I can say about anyone on this list is that Avril and Christina are hot. Slipknot: were mistaken for Coal Chamber on Howard Stern. I found it hilarious. ICP: masters of merchandising. I own 15 of their shirts and dont even listen to their music. Sum 41 - catchy enough when it comes to rather generic pop-punk. Limp Bizkit - reminded me that George Michael had some great songs. Also notable for the line "Gimme something to break--how bout your fucking face?" which always makes me laugh. Linkin Park - introducing more unnecessary K's into society. Korn - early singles are okay, and Jonathan Davis is really fat now. See above for information on the letter K. Slipknot - one of their songs mentions Ted Danson, which is pretty hardcore for a nu-metal band. ICP - the song "I Stab People" Lil Bow Wow - Is he the one related to Snoop Dogg? If so, kudos. She called me on a pay phone shortly thereafter and said, "I just saw the band Korn in the airport. Cool, huh?" I replied by telling her in no uncertain terms that Korn not only sucked, but were undoubtedly one of my least favorite modern bands. She still brings it up to this day, though. In a roundabout way, helped me realize the errors of my past musical taste. Korn - Some okay songs, particularly in the early days. I like Fieldy as a bassist. Slipknot - They're likely done, which is good. I can dig Stone Sour, Corey has a better than expected voice. ICP - I'm actually a fan. They're funny, and they're wrestling fans. Can admit that they're a joke. Lil Bow Wow - Hangs with Snoop at least. Could be good in the future, if he ever gets away from his current/future past image.
