Marney was just an asshole plain and simple. I do not like calling people names but she was an evil poster. First off as other people have said, she would just go off on someone, just because they disagreed with her beliefs. To make it worse her posse would all jump in like it was a gang bang. If I recall Marney was just has militant when it came to pro-choice. Even going has far as saying pro-life people should be arrested.

She's like the Marney of the dating forum, except without the intelligence or flaming prowess. She just relys on the fact that she loves cum showers to get attention. Oh, her advice sucks too. I'm really starting to dislike TSA, her advice for every problem seems the same with a few things added or taken away. She's like a more peaceful version of Marney. Not my least favorite poster but in my top 5, maybe even top 3 least favorite posters.

With respect to TSA. No one should ever ask advice of a woman, first of all. There's what women think they want, and then's there's what they really want. It's not TSA's fault she's not aware of this, but it does make her advice pretty obnoxious most of the time. The other problem with her advice is too often she makes the assumption that matching the advice seeker with the object of his irrational longings is a wothwhile goal, without her putting any consideration into the idea that maybe getting into this relationship isn't such a good idea after all. Also the whole "let's have a drink cuz I'ma Texan" thing gets old, but other than that TSA's not bad.

 

I'm having trouble thinking of who I don't like. I've had my run-ins with this or that person, but there's no one I can really think of that I'm harboring a quiet contempt for at the moment. Of course, I haven't been around in two weeks, so allow me some time to refresh my memory.

Maybe this is the wrong answer for this particular topic but you are now one of my Favorite posters. I absolutely hate people who talk shit about other's that arent around to defend themselves...well...with exception to Musicians, actors, and athletes because that would eliminate three folders on this board.

 

Marney was funny to me. She obviously never worked for the government like she says but she did have her strong beliefs and there is nothing wrong with that. She was good for the CE folder because she started conversations/arguments that involved many intelligent people. THAT is the point of a message board is it not?

 

I cant really think of anyone who I dislike here at TSM but i'm sure someone will rub me the wrong way someday.

My least favourite poster is Downhome. Not because I think he doesn't know shit about wrestling, or even because he constantly makes threads I'm dissinterested in.

I do hear what you are saying dude and I guess you can attibute my lack of posting to my lack of really caring for this board. Maybe I'm just sick of all the HHH/Hoss/Jeff Hardy jokes that get repeated over and over on a daily basis. That is why I try to stick away form the WWE folder these days. Subjects I feel strongly about get a decent reply from me, but there seem to be less and less of those these days.

It's not his place to get frustrated and take it out on other guests of a place in which he himself is also a guest.  If Jubuki doesn't like what the message board space is used for he can shove that straight up his ass with a "none of your business" sign attached to it.  If someone asked a question in the games folder or the sports folder and some poster responded with the bullshit that comes out of his keyboard there would be a problem, and I always thought that Jubuki's reactions in the puro folder were easily the most hypocritacal thing on this board.

I sincerely don't understand the Marney hatred. She did tend to go off the deep end when people dissed President Bush, but that's because people said things like "He's stupid" Hello the man got into and passed classes at Yale IIRC. I mean, its fine to disagree with his policies, LORD KNOWS I don't agree with many of his decisions on the environment. But just using useless name calling in an attempt to attack him is beyond useless, because you start to believe it, which was something Marney clearly hated, and after I did some thinking I started to agree with her.

 

There was a point during the summer where I was totally pissed off at the CE board because I got flamed. I was all Grr what assholes, yet the thing is, I never got flamed once I stopped saying stupid untrue shit. Did I become more conservative? Maybe. Yes, actually, I did. Because I started thinking that maybe 50% of this country could be right about SOME things.

 

Wow this is long. My other point was that Marney (when sober) was particularly eloquent, and I really feel that an eloquent asshole is better than (another) illiterate smark. I swear, if anything pisses me off, it's the people who can't be bothered to use proper grammar. Marney presented interesting posts which is more than I can say for some people. Sometimes she was CLEARLY wrong, but all you had to do was argue back with facts. Some people tried to argue back without facts and got torn apart. This same logic can be applied to anyone, from Marney, to Jubeki, to anyone.

 

But I gotta say, I was totally pissed off at the Marney sheep. I would roll my eyes everytime she verbally curb-stomped someone, and half the CE folder was all "you rawk!" Ugh.

When it came to the Middle East, Marney and myself were different ends of the spectrum, apart from that I got on ok with her for the most part.

 

However I said it at the time and i'll say it again, it didn't matter how intelligent and good her points were, the fact that she would go off the deep end ruined her arguments. It's proven here, because that is nearly all she is remembered for, not here intelligence, and I think at times she was probably one of the best posters on the entire board.
