Guest godthedog Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 that's right, name your favorite cheese. mine: ricotta. i love those italians, & this is the reason. manicotti, stuffed shells...if it's pasta & ricotta is in it, i will eat it.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I like a sharp old cheddar, aged well enough to be tangy but not bitter. Makes the best grilled cheeses......
Guest Renegade Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Mozzarella, Red lesticiere (sp?),Edam and any blue cheese. I had this weird supermarket chedder and raisins a while back which wasnt that bad either.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I prefer tiger cheese myself.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Mozzarella Runner-ups: American, chedder, ricotta, provolone (sp?), swiss...
Guest Brian Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Parmigiano Regiano. Nothing else has the depth of flavor or the spiciness.
Guest ElectricRaccoon Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Smoked mozzarella. Mozzarella's good enough on it's own, but once there's smoke flavour happening too, it's above and beyond.
Chunk Posted January 2, 2003 Report Posted January 2, 2003 Has anyone tried smoked cheese. You can get Bavarian or Austrian smoked cheese, and it tastes deeeelicious! ChUnK!
Guest converge241 Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Ricotta is the bomb on Pizza! i love cheddar/monterey jack on crackers
Guest The Old Me Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 Being an italian, ricotta is always a favorite. I love cracker barrell sharp cheddar. I could just take a bite into one of those blocks, and in fact have before.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Motzarella Sharp cheddar Monterray Jack (I worked as a cook in a Perkins restaurant & ate it a lot) American
Chunk Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Monterry Jask is a kick arse cheese. Ive been having a lot of it in wraps recently, and it just works so well. Its got nice texture to it, and tastes grrrrrrreat American Cheese though ??? Isnt that just like processed mild cheddar? ChUnK!
Guest El Satanico Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 The only things i like eating with American are grilled cheese, sausage sandwiches and fried bologna. I also don't mind it on home grilled hamburgers. My two favorite cheeses are... Hot pepper Horseradish However i like almost any type of cheese.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 Hot pepper is cheese with small pieces of peppers in it. It's actually pretty spicy, more so than you may think it would be. I have no clue how horseradish cheese is made, but it's tastes just like horseradish. So if you like hot peppers or horseradish you'd like the cheese.

Guest CanadianChick Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 I'm a simple chedder cheese kind of gal.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 11, 2003 Report Posted January 11, 2003 American Cheese isn't really a type of cheese, its just a name for a type of cheddar that they turn into sandwich slices. You won't find blocks of American Cheese.. My favorites.. A sharp cheddar Munster Mozzarella and Parmesan Feta (preferably goat's milk feta, but cow's milk is ok too..)
