Guest Mole Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Woah, I'd never think Jeff Jarrett would ever be on WWE TV again.
Guest Nevermortal Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Why's this on a Best of 2002 Raw?
Paul Stanley Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 "I wish i could be as good as him..so i can see him again, one day.." - Jim Ross Since then, those are the ONLY words taken to heart that Jim Ross has said..
ChrisMWaters Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Why's this on a Best of 2002 Raw? It promotes Raw X
Guest Mole Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 That brings tears to my eyes. I stood up for those bell rings then, and I did it again now.
Guest Choken One Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I wonder if we'll see a Backlash here for airing that segment again. I am sure it opened a few tears to the fans watching. Still, I'm glad they haven't forgotten Owen.
Guest Nevermortal Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Why's this on a Best of 2002 Raw? It promotes Raw X They could've used something a little more upbeat....
Guest Eagan469 Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 That was hard to watch. Still gives me chills.
Guest LatinoHeat Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 There was talk of Marshall Faulk replacing Covington.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 *Sigh* Poor Owen. If he was given the proper push that he deserved (that being for the WWF Title), I do believe he would be alive right now.
Guest Choken One Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Why's this on a Best of 2002 Raw? It promotes Raw X They could've used something a little more upbeat.... True, but for some reason they included it as a Best Moment.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 And we go from the sad Owen Moment to Hogan's funniest line of the whole year.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I wonder if we'll see a Backlash here for airing that segment again. I am sure it opened a few tears to the fans watching. Still, I'm glad they haven't forgotten Owen. No, I don't think so. Personally, I think they should have shown some footage of some of his funnier moments on TV though as well, I think Owen would have loved that.
Guest Choken One Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 *Sigh* Poor Owen. If he was given the proper push that he deserved (that being for the WWF Title), I do believe he would be alive right now. Let's not get into it again.
Guest Nevermortal Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 They follow up Owen's death with the Rock getting smashed by a Semi. Well, ok.....
ChrisMWaters Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Hmm...I wonder which loss Hogan minded less in Sky Dome... Against Warrior in 1990, or against the Rock in 2002.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Why wasting time with intros?
Guest CanadianChris Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Here is a fun game to kill time here... Name the best WWF/E match of the year starting with 1994 ... 1994: Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart, Wrestlemania X 1995: Shawn Michaels © vs. Razor Ramon, IC ladder, Summerslam 1996: Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin, Survivor Series 1997: Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin, submission, Wrestlemania XIII 1998: Steve Austin © vs. Dude Love, WWF title, Over The Edge 1999: Rock © vs. Steve Austin, WWF title, Wrestlemania XV 2000: Triple H © vs. Cactus Jack, WWF street fight, Royal Rumble 2001: Steve Austin & Triple H © vs. Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho, tag titles, RAW 2002: Edge & Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit, Smackdown tag final, No Mercy
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 i'm just hoping they play the segment where Hogan tried to ride Taker's bike and it stalled on him.
Guest Army Eye Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 Why's this on a Best of 2002 Raw? It was a 'Raw Retro' clip. They've been doing Raw Retro every week for a while now.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 RO-GAINE!! RO-GAINE!! GO-GAINE!
Guest bravesfan Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 It's just my list, don't take the picks too seriously... 1994: Bret/Owen, Summerslam 1995: Shawn Michaels/ Jeff Jarrett, IYH II 1996: Mankind/HBK, Mind Games 1997: Canadian Stampede 10-Man 1998: Steve Austin/Dude Love, Over The Edge 1999: No Mercy Ladder Match, just because nothing else comes to mind. 2000: ooh...HHH/Cactus Jack, Royal Rumble 2001: HHH/Austin, 2/3 Falls, NWO 2002: Benoit/Angle, Unforgiven
ChrisMWaters Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 RO-GAINE!! RO-GAINE!! GO-GAINE! *Gives Andy Hogan's hairline.* ...they even cut out Lawler's line after "Only at Wrestlemania" (which was "And only in the World Wrestling Federation.")
Guest Nevermortal Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I blame Toronto for killing the nWo.
Guest Choken One Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 God Damn...Whatta Crowd this was.
Guest AndrewTS Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 I can barely hear the commentary. Damn you Canada...Hogan as champion...it's ALL YOUR FAULTS!!
