Guest BobBacklundRules Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Al Wilson and Dawn Marie are all set to wed this Thursday night on SmackDown! (8 p.m./7 CT on UPN). Looking at past WWE wedding ceremonies, it's obvious that absolutely anything and everything can happen this Thursday night. Remember Billy & Chuck's ceremony? Who could forget the time that Stephanie McMahon attempted to renew her vows with Triple H! We'll all have to tune in to this LIVE edition of SmackDown! to see how it all turns out. Plus, last week, Chris Benoit became the No. 1 contender for Kurt Angle's WWE Championship. Benoit was brutally attacked by Angle, who was on crutches so he made his new "Team Angle" henchmen (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin), as well as the Big Show, do most of the dirty work for him. Benoit will undoubtedly be out for revenge, and looking to gain an advantage heading into his championship match at Royal Rumble. Who knows what will end up happening this Thursday night on this first WWE program of 2003 -- a LIVE edition of SmackDown! Don't miss it when it kicks off at 8/7 CT Thursday night on UPN!
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I never miss a show, no matter what's on it. Why? Because no matter how bad 90% of it is, there's always at LEAST 10% of a show that's good for my tape collection (which is rapidly growing...).

Guest The Superstar Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Well if this wedding is like HHH/Steph, get your VCRs ready because we might see some NIPPLE ACTION~! with Dawn Marie.
Guest art_vandelay Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 It will be nice to see the Benoit and Eddy wrestle LIVE~!
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Benoit is on the show, meaning that instantly, there is one good match.
Guest HartFan86 Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 So it's live...hmmm. I guess I'll watch. Not like I have anything better to do Thursday night.
Guest Joejigatame Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Well, it's meant to be Brock versus Matt Hardy...that should be fun or something. They'll probably hot shot Benoit against Team Angle as well.
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Matt Hardy, v1, and his MFer, Shanny Eddy/Benoit/Edge/Angle/Chavo/Kidman -- The TEMPORARY Smackdown 6 ((Why do you think they're pushing Kidman so much?)) That's enough reason to watch. Plus, it'll be interesting to see SD LIVE and see if it's as good as it is when it's taped.
Guest jester Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 It's going to be interesting to hear REAL crowd reactions on Smackdown.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 BAH. No Smackdown for me since its live and I don't get UPN.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 NOT A SINGLE MATCH ANNOUNCED?! Fuckers.
Guest ReyReyRox00 Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I don't reall y care if SmackDown's live. I don't care about some gay ass wedding. But i'm free tomorrow so what ever
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I don't reall y care if SmackDown's live. I don't care about some gay ass wedding. But i'm free tomorrow so what ever Something I'm sure even a casual fan feels, yet we get another wedding anyway.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Who could forget the time that Stephanie McMahon attempted to renew her vows with Triple H! Yeah, Steph's gignormous saline-filled titties flopping around, after Vince was gawking at them earlier in the night, is pretty hard to forget.
Guest ReyReyRox00 Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I'm watching not that i'm exited. Oh Wait Team Angle kicks Ass. I guess it wont be so bad.
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 since its a new year and one of my resolutions were to just give wwe another shot I think i will turn in... id watch just for this "team angle" stuff anyway... i just love how that sounds
Guest Downhome Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 After what happened last week, there is no way in hell that I would miss this coming SD.
Guest Downhome Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 NOT A SINGLE MATCH ANNOUNCED?! Fuckers. Matt Hardy Vs. Brock Lesner was annouced. I can't wait to see Matt beat him, with help of Team Angle of course.
Guest Mole Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I never miss a show ever since ECW came back. You never know what suprise will come.
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 ((Why do you think they're pushing Kidman so much?)) He'll be used in the Dawn/Torrie/Al storyline because of his real-life relationship with Torrie. You heard it here first.
Guest BorneAgain Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I'll watch, if just to seen where this team angle thing is going
Guest BobBacklundRules Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Something good better happen if this is the blowoff for the dawn/al angle.
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 NOT A SINGLE MATCH ANNOUNCED?! Fuckers. Matt Hardy Vs. Brock Lesner was annouced. I can't wait to see Matt beat him, with help of Team Angle of course. Aye, but it'll still be an entertaining match with Matt Hardy in the 2nd block of the show (i hope...) and maybe they'll gain a clue and keep his push consistant. *is watching for 3 specific reasons : Mattitude. Angle's Faction. Random tag match*
Guest Ram Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Smackdown kicks ass, yo. It'll be so much fun seeing how long the wedding will last. It's become a complete joke, so where's the harm. We have a full year of wrestling upon us! Last time we started with HHH coming back. This time, we start off with Team Angle, Brock/Benoit/Angle! If this show kicks ass, the year will, I guarantee it! /Abnormally Positive Smark
Guest RickyChosyu Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 Could someone please explain this board's hard-on for Team Angle? I didn't watch last week, but judging from what everyone's said, it sounds like just another heel stable, with Angle, Show, Benjamin, Haas, and Heyman managing them. I like Angle, but I don't think he needs Paul to talk for him, and I couldn't care less about Benjamin and Show. I haven't seen Haas before. Is he the reason everyone's so excited? Honestly, I don't get it. There's nothing intriguing about this faction to me. And on a side note: didn't we already get Brock squashing Matt a few weeks back? I could have sworn...
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 I don't get the hard-on either. When asked why they liked it so much, most said both Haas and Benjamin have amateur wrestling backrounds, and Haas was friends with Brocky.
Guest Ram Posted January 1, 2003 Report Posted January 1, 2003 It's the matching tights! The MATCHING tights! Plus two new, fresh faces! And a stable! A stable!
