Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted January 1, 2003 With the year 2003 upon us and HHH continuing to ruin RAW, how long do you predict HHH will stay in power backstage. With WWE officials (some, Pat Patterson being one) and WWE superstars on RAW being really upset and having the same thought that it is because of HHH that RAW is dying, I mean its been a year come Monday I think... that HHH returned and all hes done is injure, reinjure and hold others down. I know alot of people at RAW are too afraid to speak up but seriously.. something has to give ...right?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 1, 2003 A half a month. I really do think Austin will squash H's power so fast Hunter's head will spin.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 1, 2003 Like I said a while back, if I were Austin, I'd not come in, especially on Raw, until I got some demands met. Depushing of HHH and lots of whores for starters. And I think with Steiner coming in, it's already started, since it looks like HHH has no option but to play ball right now, since Vince is obviously pushing to make the most of Steiner while he has him/he's healthy. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2003 HHH's time is numbered...the countdown is ON! Tick tock...tick tock. Sorry, had to do that. But that does express my feelings too.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted January 1, 2003 I'm surprised hhh didn't try to put a stop to Vince hiring steiner, I hate him just as much really but he won't take any crap. Add austin to that and he might well be fucked. And we might just have some good wrestling again.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted January 1, 2003 You think Austin is going to stop HHH's backstage power? That is ridiculous. He didn't stop it when he was there before. HHH has been using his power since 2000. HHH will still get just as much time as he does now and still go over everyone. Austin will just take up the time of some other midcarders that are getting airtime now.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted January 1, 2003 I read from some 411 columnist that Austin was almost behind Trips on his burial of Jericho, so meh. But yeah, HHH's days may be numbered.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 1, 2003 You think Austin is going to stop HHH's backstage power? That is ridiculous. He didn't stop it when he was there before. HHH has been using his power since 2000. The periods where HHH and Austin were both there were realtively calm. And Austin kciked Hunter's ass out of meetings. Austin was barely out the door by the time HHH was back in. Since Austin's been gone HHH run rampant.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted January 1, 2003 HHH was running rampant when he came back from his injury in January 2002. Austin was there until June. There was nothing calm about it.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted January 2, 2003 I read that part of the reason Austin left was because Vince no longer gave him the attention and preferential treatment he used to. HHH was probably a part of that factor.
Guest Gimmick Poster.com Report post Posted January 2, 2003 I'll be so glad when Steve Austin comes back. It'll be so good to see Austin giving everyone stunners and splashing beer on recovering alcoholics and such. HHH's backstage power will be gone for sure, and then we can have a huge Austin-Mania run with him as a face going over everybody in what I'm sure will be ***** matches (I mean he IS Steve Austin). And then we can can turn him into a pseudo-homosexual heel again and team him up with Kurt Angle so we can relive some of the most overrated comedy angles in history! Austin: Jackass! Angle: Indian Giver! Austin: Jackass! Angle: Indian Giver! I'm just masturbating away thinking about Angle in that little cowboy hat and that smile on his face! LOL!!!!! EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Geez poster...go post that shit in the "Am I a Horney Fuck?" thread... Oh, and I'm giving HHH...until Rumble. If the crowd isn't receptive during the match...Steiner gets the belt either that night or during WM...

Actually, he can't touch beers, apart of his probation. Triple-Juice will loose his power when he is done fucking Steph. Plain and simple.

I know alot of people at RAW are too afraid to speak up but seriously.. something has to give ...right? Things that could possibly endl HHH's reign of terror: 1. HHH gets injured and forced off of TV for an extended time, leaving Vince with absolutely no choice but to push new talent (which is only a quick fix to the problem as HHH will bury those who get over in his absence and/or being given a God-Push upon his return) 2. Austin demanding that HHH be castrated politically in exchange for his return. But given how Austin is pushing to be put on SD, it can be inferred that Austin just wants to be the big fish in the SD pond ala HHH and Raw and doesn't want to rock the boat 3. Vince's millionaire snobbery kicking in all ofa sudden and having him forcibly end HHH's relationship with Steph and depushes HHH in order to remind him that he's the employee and Vince is the Boss and HHH's social better 4. UPN cutting SD to an hour-long show, which all but kill off the Brand-Extension at long last, forcing HHH to have to take a backseat as Team Angle Versus Brock Lesner becomes the primary angle on Raw.... 5. Steph dumping HHH for another man

Steph dumping HHH for another man #2 deals more with Austin having burned the RAW creative team when he left suddenly as well as the fact that he thinks they suck at their jobs than HHH. I'm sure Trips was a factor in those demands, though. #3 is a possibility, but Vince wouldn't do that at a time where he sees Trips as his only "star". If Angle, Lesnar, Edge, etc. break out, THEN he might do it. #4 will result in the same attitude between the RAW and SD locker rooms that the WWF had to the WCW guys in the Invasion. The RAW guys won't be happy to be giving up "their" show to the other guys, even if SD was the superior product and was only cut to an hour due to network politics. As for Angle-Brock getting the top spot over Triple H, that one will be a tough sell for Vince. With no shoot matches against boxers scheduled, Vince probably thinks that Angle and Lesnar are worth less than Trips even though they both have upward mobility and put on DAMN better matches. #5 is a possibility. I think Big Poppa Pump is the only guy crazy enough to go after her while she's with Trips, although she may choose someone soon on her own accord.

I highly doubt that. Angle is Vince's boy. Angle is the one home-grown talent that made it so successfull in the WWE.
Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted January 2, 2003 When Steph figures out there's no commitment there, he's lose a lot of pull. Anybody remember Steph's Howard Stern interview where she said if HHH asked her to marry him, she'd say yes? I'm incredibly inexperienced with this stuff, but isn't that basically saying "commit you dumb fuck" to a guy? And that was a few months ago, and most females I know aren't that patient. So HHH's time may be closer than we think.
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Basically, anytime women start talking about marriage, you should have probably been moving things along.
