Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 2, 2003 The boston herald's TV section has as the Smackdown blurb: "Dawn Marie and Al Wilson get marries, also an update on The Undertaker" good news or bad i guess depending on if youre a fan or not..just figued id let you know the same The rumor was he'd be back at The Rumble, so it makes sense
Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 2, 2003 I might as well ask this to all of you. Will he be a heel or face? What would you guys prefer? If he is going to be on TV, who do you want to see him in a program with?
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted January 2, 2003 He'll be a face. The fans won't boo him. I hope WWE learned that last summer when killing faces loike the Hardyz didn't work. I'd hate to see him return and punk out Rey, only to get face heat.
Guest Mole Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Great Taker is back. Another Hoss on Smackdown...
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted January 2, 2003 This is the perfect time for the Dead Man to make his return. It eventually has to happen, why not now?
Guest Kibagami Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Because Albert vs. an eVil zombie hoss is a bad idea. I think even Vince knows that. K.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted January 2, 2003 somebody suggested him putting over Edge to lose the streak, i assume as a hell.. that seemed liek a good idea. but i imagine he will be a face and feud with Show/ATrain. Id like to see him as a face vs Raven if he was on SDown or vice versa.. just to play up the psychological aspects of Raven's character against the former mythological elements of Taker's
Guest teke184 Report post Posted January 2, 2003 At least we don't have to contend with Undertaker vs. Underfaker when he returns... Albert is at least SLIGHTLY better than Brian Lee (Underfaker) in the ring.
Guest Damn You Helmsley Report post Posted January 2, 2003 'Taker versus Albert - It sells itself.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Report post Posted January 2, 2003 At least Taker v Albert means one bad match per card, instead of the two if they were fighting other people!
Guest Mr. Workrate Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Seriously, Taker vs. Albert. It would be for best. Taker won't job, he'll go against someone who will put on a crap match anyway, and Albert's push goes away.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Id like to see him as a face vs Raven if he was on SDown or vice versa.. just to play up the psychological aspects of Raven's character against the former mythological elements of Taker's Raven's promos are always wonderful, 'Taker's are exceptionally good...but all that would fall apart once they get in the ring. The promos would be great to listen to, BUT, I prefer Raven to continue going with the "Masterpiece"/Flock/Whatever the hell it is, angle. Besides, that 'TAKER CAN'T COME BACK TILL THE RAW SPECIAL!!! At least, I don't want him to come back. I would mark the fuck out if The Undertaker came out to his old music, with long black hair on Raw X....even if he cut the hair the next day (bastard! ), I'd still enjoy seeing The Phenom back for one night/match. Guest Mr. Workrate Report post Posted January 2, 2003 When has any of Taker's mic work been exceptionally good? His yawnfests when he had the title earlier in 2002?
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted January 2, 2003 All this UT/Raven feud talk reminds me of the UT/Papa Shango feud which pitted the Dead Man's aura vs. Shango's voodoo.....hahah remember on Susperstars when blood started streaming down from UT's head and he was freaking out. Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2003 I've always enjoyed listening to his promos, although some of them did drag a bit. Perhaps it's that Texan drawl he has, combined with the gruff voice, combined with the...attitude that is 'Taker. I can't think of the words to exactly describe his attitude.....perhaps a 'Taker fan could help me out here? I'm not talking about his in-ring skills, just his mic work.
