Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Now that Los Guerreros are faces, why can't the two hottest teams in the WWE battle in a long three-month feud, culminating in a cage match at WrestleMania? Those could be fucking awesome matches. I'm incredibily psyched about the possibility of these contests.

Guest Dopey Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I agree!!! Though Team-Angle has to come out on top!!!
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I was thinking Ladder, but that's over done. Cage could be fun.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I don't think Los Guerreros are faces just yet...well, if the crowd was anything to go by.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 3, 2003 These guys shouldn't just immediately have the tag belts thrown at them. Sorry. Â However, they already are working house shows against each other. So maybe something might happen.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted January 3, 2003 maybe 2/3 falls. have fun trying to make eddy & chavo faces. theyre born heels. what are they going to do now that they cant cheat to win?

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Am I the ONLY one who is laughing at how the smarks are shooting Team Angle to the moon and back? And yet peeps criticized WWE for pushing Brocky to the top so fast. Â Yes, they have amature backrounds. That's all well and good, BUT, that doesn't mean they should be pushed to the gold so quickly. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Brock wasn't over. They are. And they show alot of promise. I STILL want to know what all the hoopla over Brock is.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I'm not a big Brocky fan, so I honestly couldn't answer you, Anglesault. Â By the way, nice banner.
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 They're more over than Brock? riiiiiiiight. They're over because they hang with Angle.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 3, 2003 They're more over than Brock? riiiiiiiight. They're over because they hang with Angle. Now? No. But that wasn't what I said. The question is why we approve of this push so early but not Brock's. Â Â They are more over now than Brock was at this point. Brock came out to NOTHING. Hell, they're more over now that brock was all the way up to THE NIGHT HE WON THE BELT.
Guest Banky Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I wouldn't mind to seeing Eddie go solo for 2003 as a face. maybe, just maybe this could his chance for a World Title reign. He has conformed by cutting the mullet. He now looks like a normal "WWE-ized" Main Eventer.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 3, 2003 He also looks much younger, and that can't hurt.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 He now looks like a normal "WWE-ized" Main Eventer. Â Ahh, but you're forgetting about the almighty GOD that is HHH. (That is sarcasm, obviously). Â Besides, I think you have it wrong. It's not a "WWE-ized" main eventer, it's a "Smackdown-ized" main eventer. All of their main eventers (Slow, Benoit, Brock, Rock) have those ugly hair cuts. An honorable mention goes to Angle...although he's bald.

I told you he had this type of character for a VERY short while before, and like a lot that he does, he's pefect at it.
Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Yuna you must not like must men then, because virtually every guy at my school has their hair cut at least fairly short. I have only seen a couple of guys with long hair. As for this feud, I feel it could be good, but to be honest with you after I saw them last week with the vicious superkick german combo I was expecting a little more tonight. Maybe just nerves or maybe just because they are still green but I didn't think they were anything great tonight
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Yuna you must not like must men then, because virtually every guy at my school has their hair cut at least fairly short. Â I was talking about "any guy" or even my preferances for how long a guy's hair should be. I was talking about the current Smackdown main-eventers. And, to be honest, I do like guys with long hair, although there are a few exceptions to the rule, ie, Stevie, Seanny, Billy Gunn, and HBK (did he HAVE to cut his hair? It was fine in his nWo stint....but shorter??) Â Have you changed your mind about Kurt not being able to play a "bad ass" after tonight? I told you he had this type of character for a VERY short while before, and like a lot that he does, he's pefect at it. Â Yes, actually I have. Most likely it was a combo of me being a newbie, and the fact that I'm used to seeing him in a comedic role. I like the funny Angle, but I'm not complaining about the bad-ass image. As long as I see Angle in some type of talking role each show, then I'm happy.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I'd rather they throw a tag title shot at Team Angle than Cena & Bling-Bling (you *know* it's coming...)
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Eh I thought about that Anglesault but forgot to use in my thought process but what I'm saying is Brock could have been over as those two if he had someone to leech heat off of too.
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Ah yes Yuna you're one of those typical bitches who likes the guys like Shannon Moore. As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't mind seeing Eddie and Chavo job to Team Angle clean in under a minute and then jobbing in a handicap to B2.

Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Eh I thought about that Anglesault but forgot to use in my thought process but what I'm saying is Brock could have been over as those two if he had someone to leech heat off of too.  If I'm not mistaken, Brocky did attack some of the midcard faces before he officially "debuted". I know he attacked Hurricane and Molly Holly during their inter-gender match after WX8. He also attacked DDP and he F5ed Rikishi once. He attacked others, but those are about the only onces I have on my tape.  Ah yes Yuna you're one of those typical bitches  Yup, I'm a bitch.  And to Jobber.....yes, I like Gunn. Is there a problem with that? Anyway, I think that's all the further we need to discuss who I like. After all, this isn't the Sex & Dating forum.
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Am I the ONLY one who is laughing at how the smarks are shooting Team Angle to the moon and back? Nope. While I'm not exactly laughing, I did find it odd that so many devoted signature and avatar space to a group of wrestlers even before their first match. And after watching that first match last night, I still haven't been impressed... yet.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 3, 2003 I'm laughing that some people are belittling others just for showing enthusiasm very quickly about a couple long overdue new faces. Â Â If we enjoy Team Angle, and have high hopes for them, why not let us indulge ourselves in harmless wishing? Â Â Oh, and my suggestion was for WrestleMania, that's 2 months. Not an unprecedented amount of time for a team with a lot of buzz to take the gold.
