Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I would like if they could use "My Way" again. It just has that Wrestlemania feel to it. It could go great for the Brock/Angle video package like it did for Austin/Rock. Is it possible for them to use the song again.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 6, 2003 No more Limp Biskit. Durst is one of two "musicians"whose whiny ass voice drives me out of my mind. (The other, of course, being Eminem)
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 6, 2003 "Lose Yourself" does kick some ass, but I don't think that WWE would use it, for two reasons. 1) It's Rap. WWE just loves Nu Metal. 2) Whose to say if they could even get the rights to the song? They don't exactly have the pockets to afford it, unless they're planning to make WM the ultimate turning point. 1) "Here Comes The Money" "California" (WM 16's theme) are just two rap songs WWE has used in the past (and both are on Anthology) 2) Eminem is a part of Interscope, which is the company that picks up all these artists WWE has been using Limp Bizkit, Tatu, Marilyn Manson, Trust Company, Puddle of Mudd, and No Doubt have all been used by WWE, and all belong to Interscope. The only notable name that WWE's used recently that doesn't belong to Interscope is Kid Rock.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 They could use Eminem...Cena decides to take it upon himself to rap the intro, so Eminem comes out, a 'fight' starts until Cena throws Eminem off the stage. That way, WWE can get back into the mainstream, and they can have a Cena-B2 vs Eminem-Kish match at a PPV. Sure, the match would suck, but it'd get some mainstream attention. And they need that again. Kinda like Tyson-Austin, only a little more pointless. Plus, seeing Eminem go get beat up would be cool
Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted January 6, 2003 When were Tatu and No Doubt used? And that new Tatu single is scarily catchy and really rather odd.

Guest Passenger Report post Posted January 6, 2003 When You Wish Upon a Star-Jiminey Cricket I've alsways wanted the WWF to take an old time inspirational/happy times type song and adapt it to the current environment. (And no, this does not mean that I want some Nu Metal shit doing it or some rapper going "Yo Yo Yo, don't matter who da fuck you be!") I too would appreciate a more retro feel to the music used...maybe a bit of Duran Duran - View To A Kill perhaps. Imagine a pre WM package with ...'DANCE INTO THE FIRE...THIS FATAL KISS IS ALL WE NEED!!!' blaring in the background...no chance in hell of it ever happening, but its nice to dream... Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Well, if I was choosing music... Shadows Fall - "The Art Of Balance" It has a great "epic" feel to it (and it's only 4 1/2 minutes long), there's no swearing or growling, it could give Shadows Fall a HUGE break, and the lyrics fit WWE pretty good. Observe: Fucking amazing...I was thinking about Shadows Fall as well. I was thinking of "Stepping Outside the circle. THE LYRICS WITH WWE VIDEO LEADING UP TO WM X9: Here i go again A vicious Cycle without end Seeking distance for security (Kurt Angle backing off from Brock) A desperate act to remain free (Triple H cheating to remain as champ) A balance point cannot be found This whole thing will come crashing down (RVD's ***** frog splash) Down! Down! My fear will drag you down Into this world that i create (Vince arguing with Hulk Hogan...could be substituted for any "wrestler vs. authority" feud at that point) Your love for me has sealed your fate (Torrie vs. Dawn Marie...sadly this will be part of WM the way things are looking) Down! Down! My fear will drag you down (something TLC-ish for the sick hardcore mother fuckers) Can I trust in what i feel? Praying that this time it's real Feel the strain! All this times been spent in vain MY SHAME! open wounds that still remain DECAY! As my faith is stripped away YOU'LL STRAY! The final price i have to pay (bloodied WWE'rs) Digger in deeper still (evil dead man Undertaker) The hollowness I yearn to fill The story always ends the same (clips of all the people who won a world title at Wrestlemania) The cycle soon begins again Stepping outside the circle see...hidden WWE messages! It's a conspiracy See, I was originally going to say "Stepping Outside The Circle," with maybe a little bit of "Casting Shade" to lead into it, but "Art Of Balance" is more marketable, more acceptable mainstream-wise, and has a more epic feel to it. Nice vid idea.
Guest notJames Report post Posted January 6, 2003 "Same Old Story" by Public Image Ltd. Some people got more kicks than halfpence and cry for attention, like cracks in the pavement And all of this pointed, like perfect TV When you're sowing the wind, you reap the whirlwind CHORUS Who gets the mansions-we get the ruins Same old story Your flexible nature, serving no purpose Like a terrible artist, using no shadow And the king of the castle, is pulling new shapes Gilding the lilies, and all of them fakes CHORUS typical tragic, small house and small street Narrow the outlook, small minded coomplete The emperor's new clothes, get clearer and clearer Dictate to the fingers, that tighten the trigger CHORUS And the king of the castle is pulling new shapes Life is a poison, it begins at home Pride is a trinket, a security blanket You could tangle the spiders on the webs that we weave CHORUS
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 6, 2003 When were Tatu and No Doubt used? And that new Tatu single is scarily catchy and really rather odd. Tatu is used in Victoria's theme. I've never seen No Doubt used live on TV, but during commercial breaks at a live show in July, I saw them playing a video that was a mix of their new (at the time) music video and footage from the last Diva video. Guest Scuba Steve Report post Posted January 6, 2003 They should just use that "Fight" song they used for SummerSlam. That song kicked ass.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Use Frank Sinatra's "My Way". It's the only good song with the title of "My Way. However i understand Sinatra may not fit WWE. So how about the Sex Pistols cover of the song.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 As much as a I fucking hate rap and Eminemena, I honestly have to say that if they don't use "Lose Yourself", I'll be dissapointed. This fucking works PERFECT. Just make an edit of the song and get all the stuff that doesn't make sense with the storylines out of the song and it's golden. I mean, Wrestlemania IS the one moment where things change people's lives forever. This would work perfect for Brock vs. Angle...Brock wins the Rumble and gets past No Way Out and he gets his one shot. His biggest moment of his life. You know the first 30 seconds in the song? That can be used for a video package of ALL the great Mania Moments and it fades away with something right into Lesnar vs. Angle for a bit (at the 32 second mark) and then the announcer is like "AND NOW....WRESTLEMANIA 19" and right at the 1:39 mark the pyro goes off and stuff. Seriously, this song is really motivating and gets your blood pumping too...I love the guitar in it as well. Also, if they get the rights for this song, it's really notable so it will attract viewers (Face it guys, as much as we hate him, Eminemena DOES draw). And the song doesn't just work for Lesnar/Angle....what about Rock/Goldberg (if it happens)? Once again, it would work perfect. Now, if Hogan/Austin happens...eh, they really don't fit this type of song, but I can still see it.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Hmm...Linkin Park's "In The End" might work for a Heyman/Lesnar feud. "I put my trust in you...gone as far as I can go...."
