German, Slovak, English, Lithuanian on my mother's side, don't know about my father's side, though I think I'm a tiny part Cherokee on his side.

Mostly Scottish and Irish, with a pinch of German tossed in, and there's also a possibility that I'm part Native American - I don't look it at ALL, but my Dad's skin is a slightly different tone, and I seem to remember his mother being about the same.

We're not totally sure, but we think my Dad's Grandmother MAY have been Native American. Kinda hard to know for sure, since I think we only have one picture of her, and you can't tell in it.

I'm 1/4 Cherokee. There's also some English, possibly German (my grandfather's name was Shingler, and I've not been able to get a straight story from someone. We apparently have either an ancestor or a living relative oversears with the title of "Lord").

I did some investigating once and found out that the name "Cone" (my dad's last name) could be an evolution of the Scottish, "McKenzie", but I've not had the tools to investigate it further.

But the Cherokee is confirmed. Had ancestors on the trail of tears, we think. Don't hold me to that. But that's the part I'm most proud of at any rate.

Well Banky, if you want to be bitchy about ethnicity, you're lazy calling yourself Czechoslovakian, as the former nation encompassed several different ethnicities: Bohemian/Czech, Slovak, and some Ruthenian.

EDIT: I just realized the humor in The Czech Republic pointing this out.

You know, on this subject, I've always thought it's funny how white people always go, "I'm German/Swedish/Irish/Italian/blah blah blah"... and then black people are just black. You don't see any of them going "I'm Ghanaian/Egyptian/Zairean/blah blah blah". I suppose that's mainly because all of those roots got messed up for good with the discriminations of slavery, but I always thought that was funny.

50% Italian (all from my father's side), with the overwhelming powers of the Anglo (Scandanavian, to be exact) and the Jew making up the other side.

I've actually traced back my family tree(on both sides) back to about the Civil War and I'll be damned if my bloodline doesn't have have a bit of everything in it.
