Guest EQ Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'm hispanic. Mostly Cuban and Dominican, with a little of Puerto Rico in there too. Proud of it too.

Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Whitey -- Don't give a crap where I came from...
Guest hardyz1 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 German, Slovak, English, Lithuanian on my mother's side, don't know about my father's side, though I think I'm a tiny part Cherokee on his side.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well, I am mostly Puerto Rican, with some Cuban, and Portuguese mixed in as well.
Guest BAR Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Not sure about percentages but English, Scottish, Irish, as far as I know.
Guest imajackoff? Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Scottish and German. If I were any whiter I'd be transparent.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Slovak, Hungarian Russian and I think Scottish or Irish
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Mostly Scottish and Irish, with a pinch of German tossed in, and there's also a possibility that I'm part Native American - I don't look it at ALL, but my Dad's skin is a slightly different tone, and I seem to remember his mother being about the same. We're not totally sure, but we think my Dad's Grandmother MAY have been Native American. Kinda hard to know for sure, since I think we only have one picture of her, and you can't tell in it.
Guest SP-1 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'm 1/4 Cherokee. There's also some English, possibly German (my grandfather's name was Shingler, and I've not been able to get a straight story from someone. We apparently have either an ancestor or a living relative oversears with the title of "Lord"). I did some investigating once and found out that the name "Cone" (my dad's last name) could be an evolution of the Scottish, "McKenzie", but I've not had the tools to investigate it further. But the Cherokee is confirmed. Had ancestors on the trail of tears, we think. Don't hold me to that. But that's the part I'm most proud of at any rate.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 100% Tamil, as in Sri Lanka, born in Germany, moved to Canada when I was like a few months old and I've been living here ever since. Yeah.
Guest Sassquatch Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 1/4 Italian 1/4 German 2/4 White guy
Guest Insanityman Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Irish bay-bee. I do really like my Irish heritage and then I have maybe 7% of mixed crap.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Scottish, Irish, Swedish, German, and French.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Well Banky, if you want to be bitchy about ethnicity, you're lazy calling yourself Czechoslovakian, as the former nation encompassed several different ethnicities: Bohemian/Czech, Slovak, and some Ruthenian. EDIT: I just realized the humor in The Czech Republic pointing this out.
Guest Banky Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Uhm ya.....? I'm only Turkish and Armanian.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Whoever figures this out wins a cookie! I surrender! I actually would've guessed Polish.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Uhhhh... I guess I be black...
Guest evenflowDDT Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 You know, on this subject, I've always thought it's funny how white people always go, "I'm German/Swedish/Irish/Italian/blah blah blah"... and then black people are just black. You don't see any of them going "I'm Ghanaian/Egyptian/Zairean/blah blah blah". I suppose that's mainly because all of those roots got messed up for good with the discriminations of slavery, but I always thought that was funny.
Guest ant_7000 Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 Im black, African-American, I have carmel skin so I could have mixture in me.
Guest HVilleThugg Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 I'm a tiny little black man, but I play a very large black man on TV.
Guest Incandenza Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 50% Italian (all from my father's side), with the overwhelming powers of the Anglo (Scandanavian, to be exact) and the Jew making up the other side.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 ....now I can REALLY picture you looking like Vin Diesel
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 7, 2003 Report Posted January 7, 2003 You know, on this subject, I've always thought it's funny how white people always go, "I'm German/Swedish/Irish/Italian/blah blah blah"... and then black people are just black. I suppose that's mainly because all of those roots got messed up for good with the discriminations of slavery, but I always thought that was funny. I've actually traced back my family tree(on both sides) back to about the Civil War and I'll be damned if my bloodline doesn't have have a bit of everything in it.
