Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Jeff Hardy, Kevin Nash & Jackie Gayda is about it. I am not for firing people just for sucking, although I certainly wouldn't push them. These three are all lazy, unprofessional shits who are dangerous to themselves and others in the ring.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Ah yes, Jackie Gayda. KICK HER TO THE CURB! That also brings me to this: NO MORE TOUGH ENOUGHS! Tough Enough 1's batch of individuals were the best, IMO.
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 6, 2003 No batch of TE's are good. Especially considering that for the same amount of money you can get other talent from the indies.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Mark Henry never won ANY title in OVW. I've looked at the title histories and he hadn't won the OVW title, the Hardcore title, or the Tag title. I didn't even humor myself by checking the Light Heavyweight title because a slimmer Mark Henry is still larger than a fat Mick Foley.

These three are all lazy, unprofessional shits who are dangerous to themselves and others in the ring. I might not fire people for sucking, because they wouldn't be hired in the first place. WWE doesn't fire people for sucking, they fire them for "having no plans" for them. Thus, Bradshaw is still employed, and Jerry Lynn was released. WWE Logic, folks! Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Well, Bradshaw could give WWE Money. He does work the stock market game. Gee, I wonder how much WWE stock he owns... Personally I love Bradshaw's current gimmick: injured. Best of his entire career.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Another tidbit for AS: Test got into wrestling in January 1997 after meeting Bret 'Hitman' Hart at Planet Hollywood in Toronto. Bret gave him details on who to get in touch with to begin training. So blame the Hitman. Why, Bret, why? I knew that. QUOTE (Gimmick Poster.com @ Jan 5 2003, 05:36 PM) You're cool in my book TS. You actually research things before you go off spouting crap. *Looks up thread at certain poster* Henry getting a "Super Push" since he had done so well in OVW. He was even the World Champ there for awhile I believe Irony or something.

Guest jester Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I think the only real use for Henry is to stick him in a tag team with Big Show and they can be the monster fat heel team or something. The only people I would cut in the current WWE are the politicians. Adios HHH, HBK, and Nash. Taker too, if he's as bad. Oh, and Hogan, just because I hate him. Guest Coffey Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I actually like a lot of people that other are suggesting terminating. Jeff Hardy & Bill DeMott for example. The only people I can't stand, are the obese "power" wrestlers. I mean, DeMott is big, but at least he still does some moves that take agility, like his Moonsault. Mark Henry & the Big Show on the other hand, never do anything. Big Show always get pushed for his height & weight. Mark Henry always get pushed with the "World Strongest Man" bullshit. I actually think Big Shows could work. It did work with Andre. Mark on the other hand though.. it's never worked to my knowledge. He has proven that he is easy to motivate and loves what he does however. He lost a lot of weight before Vince told him to go for the World's Strongest Man title again, so you know that he can do it. The unmotivated wrestlers, such as Jeff Hardy, just need to get motivated again. All it usually takes is a little character development. Look at D-Lo. I mean, his new black power gimmick sucks, but at least he is on RAW now, so he tries to impress. Justin Credible, I feel, is also on this list. He just needs motivation. I really enjoyed his ECW title run, even if I am in the minority. I would elimated several people from in-ring work, but I wouldn't "fire" them. Hogan & Flair for example. There is no need for them to work a match at their age & ability. They are both big names with promo talent though, so you can't get rid of them. I'd get rid of the useless eye candy. It's obvious that the WWE is far past the "Miss Elizabeth valet" days. Elizabeth would escort her man to the ring. Show emotion on the outside of the ring, and looked good. She didn't need her own segmeants on every show showing ass. Occasionally, she would get involved. Not always. So people like Dawn Marie, Torrie Wilson, & Stacy Kiebler would get the ax. Of course, the WWE could just avoid this whole situation by having all the women just be valets. If they would avoid situations like the Al Wilson marriage angle, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. See, that's pretty much the way I feel about the whole roster. I don't think that anyone needs to get fired, they just need to be retooled. Put some pants on Rikishi, and let him go back to the Rikishi driver. He can do the occasional high spot, like his leap from the cage on Val Venis. So, I would really fire anyone. I would just not blow a lot of money constantly bringing in new faces though. The WWE didn't need to sign Scott Steiner. They don't need to bring in Goldberg. They didn't need to bring back the nWO. That was all a lot of wasted money, except for Goldberg which hasn't happened yet. I'm sure it will though. Instead, the WWE should just invest that money and time into the people that they have. Anyone can get over. All it takes is the right gimmick. Little things like ring attire, entrance music & movesets matter a lot too. Look at Batista. He finishes with a sit-down powerbomb. No one cares. Maybe people would take notice if he did something original. Remember when Wrath came back from injury in WCW? He had a new finisher. It was the Meltdown. The crowd popped big time for it. It was original at the time. Soon, people started realizing how over the move was and started stealing the move. Test did it for awhile. Shit, sometimes he still busts it out. Bradshaw did it a few times as well. The fans in WCW cheered for Wrath, just because they might get to see the move. That's another thing that needs to happen. I used to follow certain wrestlers just for their finisher. I would watch all of their matches so that they might do it. DDP for example. I watched all of his matches because you never knew if you would get to see the Diamond Cutter, and if you did you never knew how it was going to be executed. Nowadays, when someone hits a finisher, it's not a big deal at all. Everything seems played out. If the finish is hit, then the match is over. The exception is PPV main events, where there are two false finishes before the match ends. Same boring story. I wouldn't get rid of anyone, I would just repackage those whom the fans don't care about. That's my answer.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 6, 2003 The unmotivated wrestlers, such as Jeff Hardy, just need to get motivated again. All it usually takes is a little character development. No, they need to earn that. Jeff Hardy is a useless, dangerous piece of shit right now. It's not liek the Austin situation where Steve became unmotivated because they were literally trying to piss him off. Hardy is shit, and he shouldn't get a push over someone like Tommy Dreamer, who gets no respect, but hasn't become the waste that hardy has.

I don't think I've ever agreed with one of your posts more than this one right here. As far as I'm concerned, the moment that he broke up with Matt, his career was over. Hell, even when they were together he seemed to be getting more and more boring and lazy and simply not "into" what he was doing.
