That's ugly. I'd be happy just to walk again after tearing all the ligaments in my knee.

I don't know shit about college football, but he is the RB for Miami, right?

Yes.

It turns out he only tore 2 ligaments. I don't know if that makes it any better, but I hope he doesn't turn into Terrell Davis at such an early age.

There was an article on ESPN, that he had two ligaments injured, and they were repaired in surgery. The figure of all three came from a coach, who believed they were all shot. I believe he tore his ACL and MCL, but the PCL was fine. The doctors say he's young and strong enough to make a full recovery, but we'll see. It's clear he won't be ready to start next season, and IMO, Miami should medically redshirt him so he can come back 100% the next year, as a junior.

MCL tear can heal up in about 3-6 months, depends on how bad the tear is.

ACL tear can take about 6-10 months and even more if you've done it allready.

PCL tear....don't bother playing again

ESPN says that the day of the Fiesta Bowl McGahee put the finishing touches on a insurance policy that if he gets hurt and can't play football anymore he'll collect 2.5 million dollars. Let the conspiracy theories begin!
