i think i read somewhere that a girl in japan (fabi apache possibly?) started at 14 but is there anybody out there now who has started younger?

I've heard of several people starting to train, and having matches at 14.

Matches at a show of some level though... dunno.

My guess would be Harry Smith. He was featured in a match on Confidential right after the Bulldog passed on and I believe he was only around 16 years old.

Owen Hart wrestled under a mask at 16 or so to preserve his amateur status in Calgary. Rey Mysterio Jr. started at around 15 or 16 I believe.

Also there was that whole Matrats pro wrestling fed that lasted about 5 shows. They had young guys. The youngest i can remember was 13, and he was some wrestler's son.
