Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 http://www.411mania.com/music/news/article...hp?news_id=1525 Considering Creed's image, this is quite the shocker to me. And the fact that he kept on going is even worse. My opinion of Scott Stapp has somehow gotten lower than it already is.

Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted January 12, 2003 Creed have issued an official "apology" to fans who were disappointed by the group's Dec. 29, 2002 concert at Chicago's Allstate Arena at which lead singer Scott Stapp was reportedly high out of his mind and could not sing, nearly falling down numerous times during the performance. The official statement being e-mailed back to fans via a mailing list set up by Creed's management company, Jeff Hanson Management & Promotions, reads as follows: "Dear Creed Fan, "The band has heard that you are unhappy with the quality of the recent Creed show in Chicago. "We apologize if you don't feel that the show was up to the very high standards set by our previous shows in Chicago. We also understand and appreciate the fact that there has been much concern about Scott's health and we want to assure everyone that he is doing very well and is taking a much needed break at home in Orlando after a very long and rigorous touring year. "The band has plans to start writing material for their next record later this year and plan to return to Chicago next year to play a show that will hopefully be better than any of the numerous shows we've played there. "For now we hope that you can take some solace in the fact that you definitely experienced the most unique of all Creed shows and may have become part of the unusual world of rock and roll history! Again, we apologize if you didn't enjoy the show but remember, 'It's only rock and roll but we like it!' "Have a great year! Creed" i.e. Fuck You and Thanks for the Money. See you Next Time. Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted January 12, 2003 No they shouldn't. Anybody stupid enough to shill out $40 to see CREED live deserves to be ripped-off like that.

Guest snuffbox Report post Posted January 13, 2003 If Stapp did this to further his Jim Morisson impression, he failed. Much like his contemporary, Fred Durst, Scott just continues to make a bigger and bigger ass of himself. I wonder if Creed realizes how many hundreds of once-huge rock bands are now playing county fairs and biker rallys?
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 13, 2003 Why are people treating a singer being too fucked up to play as news? Just because of the image he previously built? Bah. A whole lot of musicians a whole lot better than him have passed out on stage, or in the studio. I like how that letter didn't mention that he was fucked up on something. Way to sweep that whole bit under the rug.
