Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Vince will come out, ramble on about nothing for ages, killing the crowd in the process, before finally making some stupid announcement to do with Bischoff, giving us more "evil owner" or "owner vs owner" crap. The fans won't give a shit, yet the WWE will declare the angle a "success", and we'll get more McMahon on TV, taking more time away from actual wrestlers and replacing it with Vince stroking his ego on TV for 20 minutes each week, not counting the time he takes up in endless backstage skits thoughout the shows. The Vince character has been stale, overdone and boring since 1999, so lets bring him back AGAIN to further suck the life out of the WWE.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 ...I just had a scary thought... What if Vince McMahon announces that he's going to be in the Royal Rumble this year, to commemerate the anniversarry of his 1999 win?
Guest eirejmcmahon Report post Posted January 7, 2003 He'll come out, blather on about nothing...cue breaking glass...kick-wham-youknowthedeal...Austin reminds everyone that he said he'd be in the Rumble this year...roll end credits.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Maybe, doubtful, but just maybe, Vince will come out to the ring and actually be humble and thank the fans for the 10 Years of Raw. He'll thank the Wrestlers now and from the past for the memories, etc. Really, just to promote the Raw Show for the next night, and maybe to start up some new Storylines with Bischoff, Austin & Rock's Returns, etc. Something good might just come from this. Wait it out and see.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I said it in the Raw thread and I'll say it here... I want Vince to come in, fire Bisch as GM, and name the Hitman, Bret Hart, as the NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Raw GM. Ah, excellent. I can see the Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels matches on SmackDown RIGHT NOW. That's about what I'm expecting. Maybe the glass will shatter, or maybe the split will be called off and Brock will run down and murder HHH (ha!), but it will probably be just some more terrible TV. Guest Johnny Blaze Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I'm betting this falls along the lines of a boring Vince promo that leads nowhere, like several of you said. I sincerely doubt that Austin will make his return, especially not to RAW, what with all the alleged problems he had with the writing staff. As a side note, what's with everyone tossing out all these pitches about how Bret Hart should come back. You all seem to be forgetting the fact that the man HAD A STROKE recently. The left half of his body was temporarily paralyzed so he's obviously never going to wrestle again, and if any of you saw that wretched WWA PPV where he was commisioner, you'd realize that he doesn't exactly have the wherewithall to be any kind of mouthpiece. There is nothing left that Bret can do for wrestling, period. Don't take this the wrong way, he was my favorite wrestler of all time, hands down, but the man is no longer capable of being an on-air talent of any kind. The best we could hope for at this point is that he takes a job on the booking team or as a road agent, but as far as being on TV again, I'm not holding my breath. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Hmm...I had another longshot thing that Vince could do for a return on WWE TV... Bring back the IC title. Since it WAS...storyline wise...Bischoff that killed it off. Maybe say the Royal Rumble runner-up becomes the Intercontinental Champion.

Since it WAS...storyline wise...Bischoff that killed it off. Maybe say the Royal Rumble runner-up becomes the Intercontinental Champion. I don't know... bringing back the IC title at this point, just a few months after they "unified it" would be a mistake... Maybe in a year or so, but not after a few months. I say bring back the US title and later on, bring back the IC title on Smackdown, assuming that they continue with the roster split for the rest of the year
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Eh, I was just considering bringing back the IC title ASAP because I wouldn't feel right having a WrestleMania without an Intercontinental Champion on it. Even if he didn't defend his title (see WrestleMania 12) EDIT: Oh, and I...along with many others...thought the unification of the titles was dumb anyway. Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 9, 2003 Vince will come back....get knocked in the head.... have amnesia (GASP~!)....think he is a superhero...and then "STAND BACK...there's a MCMAHON coming through!" oh wait...that's just Steph's entrance... and this angle will never work anyway...amnesia angles SUCK therefore...I'm expecting SUPERVINCE on my TV... Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted January 9, 2003 McMahon will come out and act like a face, and than assign in himself guest referee for the Steiner/HHH match, and right when Steiner's about to win Vince will screw him, and end up aligned with HHH.
