Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Has anyone heard about when/if a new WWE game for the Gamecube is coming out? I know it took about a year for the PS2 to go from Awful SmackDown 3, to the really good SmackDown 4. Hell, I'd be happy with a port/roster update for No Mercy. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Well, I've not heard anything that was official, but I think Wrestlemania XX will be the next Gamecube WWE game out sometime in the late spring/summer of 2004. Its kina just a hunch, considering I've not heard anything about THQ and a new WWE game, which means that unless its super secret, theres probably no way it would be out this year, and if they keep up with the Wrestlemania title for the series, then it would make sense to relase it AFTER Wrestlemania XX to get the logos, set and roster set. Anyway, about the controller, I just find it awkward to play any kind of "fighting" games with an analog stick. I mean you fight a triple threat match and they all attack you and they won't fight each other. They just sit there and beat the hell out of you and they'll only hit each other if they accidentally hit the other.
