RAW 10th anniversary show expanded to 2 hours!

I was just at wrestlingobserver.com and they said the show was being bumped up to 2 hours.

 

now I actually want to see it...lucky for them Buffy's not airing

To the best of my understanding, it's going to be like a live awards show at the World, with moment countdowns, the best Raw match ever, and random other things.

The show is going to be much better since it is 2 hours long. It starts at 9, so even if Buffy is new, I can still watch all of it.

I don't see them pushing the show an hour ahead, as SportsCentre airs at 6:30. Maybe they'll just show it the next day. Will the live show be blocked out on TNN in Canada?

I will be extremely pissed if that happens. It's not like TSN is airing it the same day. I just have this strange feeling that TSN is going to block it and then only show one hour of it on thie broadcast. Because God knows we Canadians need our 65th episode of SportsCentre for the day.

Great!!! Now the show is starting to interest me.

 

Even though I'm happy with this I still think they should have had it on a Monday Night as a special Raw. Here's what I would have done if I were in charge:

 

Get old wrestlers like they're going. But instead of having them sit at tables have them do backstage skits, wrestle, maybe an interview or two, and sit in the front row. They could have a few of them become full time wrestlers.

 

I'd use the Raw 10th as a building tool for the future instead of a look at the past. Have someone like Bret Hart or Steve Austin show up at the Raw 10th and start a feud with someone. An award type show isn't doing anything for the future of the WWE.

Will the live show be blocked out on TNN in Canada?

 

I've noticed that during Raw TNN in Canada is showing old "Real TV' episodes and Star Trek for the last month or so.

 

Before that they would have Raw on TNN but the Canadian TSN signal would override it meaning we get the Canadian raw on both TSN and TNN.

 

If they decide to block this out I'm going to be really pissed.
