There was no way for the thing with Stacy to work out, and based on everything I've heard he's better off without her. Maybe not, but you can at least try to use some common sense. A girl half his age that dicked him over after he sacrificed his job for her is not what I call the ideal match. A girl does something like that to me and I'm cutting my losses and hitting the eject button, no matter how bad I think I've already fallen for her.
