Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 SWF Lockdown for Monday, Jan. 13th, 2003! Due Date: Monday the 13th at 6 PM EST. Same deal with extensions. None will be given unless you have the damndest excuse I've ever heard. Arena: The Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio! (The JL had the night off there...) Send To: Grand Slam (Well, it's my first card. I hope you all enjoy it. I'd like to see a little more competition, and less in the way of no-showing, but keep up the good work with storylines. It's very impressive work, people. Remember, Clusterfuck is just a hop, skip, and a jump away...) HARDCORE GAMERS' CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH Annie Eclectic vs. Xero Annie Eclectic has been on the prowl lately. The Hardcore Queen is looking to live up to her name. She even went after Magnificent 7 member Judge Mental, who was deemed "not hardcore" by the lovely lady herself. Much to Annie's chagrin, however, Judge captured the #1 Contendership to the HGC Title. However, Annie now has a chance to take on the winner of the upcoming match. However, Xero stands in her way. After his tag match on Storm, Xero wants to show that he can make a singles impact as well. Will Annie get her shot at gold, or will Xero be squaring off for all the marbles? Rules: Hardcore rules are in effect. Falls count all over the building. No DQ or countout. Any and all weapons are legal. Word Limit: 4000 Send To: -Muzza- SINGLES MATCH Stryke vs. Xstasy Xstasy made his shocking return on the first Storm of the new year, appearing at the end of the main event. Does Xstasy have some kind of beef with Thugg, with whom he has shared many a match? Does he want to aid his on-again/off-again ally? Or does X have a purpose all his own? Only time will tell. However, in his return to the squared circle, Xstasy will have to face off against Stryke, the returning Aussie. The former HGC and Tag champ will be looking to reform his reputation, and a win over the respected Xstasy would do much to help him out. The battle of the returnees should be a great way to kick off Lockdown! Rules: Standard singles match. DQ/Countout in effect. Word Count: 3500 Send To: Suicide King SINGLES MATCH #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE ICTV TITLE Nathan Kibagami vs. Danny Williams With Nathan dropping his last match to Tod deKindes after being distracted by Angel, he wants to get back on the winning track. Fortunately, King has decided to get some real competition going in the ICTV division. Therefore, he has created not one, but TWO #1 Contendership matches for the ICTV title, currently held by Orochi. This match will pit Nathan Kibagami against Danny Williams, who is on a major hot streak as of late. After pulling off a victory over seasoned vets in teh main event, Danny is pumped to get a shot to move up the card. Will Mak Francis play a role? Or what about Tod deKindes, who beat Nathan on Storm but is not participating in the match? A whole lotta things are up in the air right now... Rules: Standard singles match. Countout/DQ are in effect. Word Count: 5000 Send To: Grand Slam HARDCORE SUBMISSIONS MATCH HARDCORE GAMERS TITLE MATCH Michael Craven© vs. Judge Mental Judge Mental proved his pundits, particularly Annie Eclectic, wrong on Storm, when he won the right to face Michael Craven for the Hardcore Gamers Championship. Annie will get her shot soon, but now it's time for Judge to eat his words. He claimed to be a true hardcore wrestler, inviting 2/3 falls matches, Canadian Deathmatches, and...submissions matches. King decided to see just how hardcore Judge was, and booked him in a hardcore submissions match! Craven is in his element here, so the odds are stacked against Mental. Can he continue to learn to fight hardcore, or will Craven tear him a new one? Rules: No countout/DQ are in effect. To win the match, you must make your opponent submit. Submissions count anywhere inside the arena. There are NO pinfalls. Word Count: 5000 Send To: TheBostonStrangler SINGLES MATCH ICTV #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH Frost vs. Alex Zenon This match is sure to be a barn-burner. Alex Zenon has had his eyes set on the top since his return, and this is a big opportunity for him. However, he now must face Frost, who is intent on being seen as the main eventer he believes himself to be. This match gives both men a chance to take on Orochi on Smarkdown, with the ICTV Title in the line. Will the Magnificent 7 or the Midnight Carnival get involved, looking to protect their own? Will Nathan Kibagami make HIS presence felt, especially if he advances to fight Orochi? No matter how it turns out, this match will bring down the house in Cleveland. Rules: Singles match. Countout/DQ in effect. Word Count: 5000 Send To: chirs3 MAIN EVENT #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE SWF TAG TEAM TITLES El Luchadore Magnifico/The HVille Thugg vs. Ced Ordonez/Mak Francis The HVille Thugg finally received his contract on Storm, but the occasion was spoiled when Frost, under orders of the new commish, the Suicide King, attacked the massive Thugg. Frost is one half of the SWF Tag Team Champions, along with Tom Flesher. Speaking of Flesher, El Luchadore Magnifico is still looking to take over Flesher after their brutal draw last month. Magnifico, who seems to be forming an alliance with Thugg, would love nothing more than to take Flesher's cumberbund/tag team strap away from him. However, the team of Ced Ordonez and Mak Francis stands in their way. These men are on a quest to get back into the tag title picture, and they have the opportunity of a lifetime against Magnifico and Thugg. Can they topple the main eventers? Will Frost and Tom look out to protect their own interests? Find out in our main event! Rules:Normal tag rules. No more than one member of each team in the ring at once. First pinfall/submission wins. DQ/countout in effect. Word Count: 6250 Send To: Suicide King

Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 *hugs TBS* This is the best card EVER, man.
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Very impressive card, looks good from top to bottom. The only time i've written against X before was in last year's Clusterfuck, so a one-on-one match should be fun, even though i'll most likely lose.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 9, 2003 Report Posted January 9, 2003 Damn, it feels good to be a gangster. Judge/Craven has the chance to run away with the show. This is a rare stip and it never fails to impress when handled well. A fine first Lockdown.

Guest Tod deKindes Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 Consider the opening promo called by moi.
Guest Kibagami Posted January 10, 2003 Report Posted January 10, 2003 And if I win my match, I call Danno's match review. I'm not sure if we've ever called match reviews before, but damn it, I'm doing it now. K.
