I think it is important that everyone who reads it knows the following:

in 2002, prolly after the pro bowl, look for 3 NFL teams to get new logos/uniforms/color schemes.

 

Seattle will get a whole new logo, uniform set and a tweaking of color scheme.

 

Detroit will be getting a new logo and possible new uniforms

 

Buffalo is rumored to go to a red/black/silver scheme like the sabres.

Man, I almost forgot what I was gonna say while the screen was loading.

 

Anyway, I wish the Lions would stay the same. I don't see what's wrong with their uniforms. The Seahawks don't have the coolest unis, but given Seattle history I don't trust them to change it into something better.

I think the Lions are trying for a whole new start for their new stadium.  Not a bad idea, in my opinion.  I know I wish I could forget the last few years of the Lions finding innovative ways to suck.  Like the year they could not win in an outdoor stadium, or the year they managed to beat the Rams, and seemed like a good bet for the Super Bowl, only to finish 8-8 and get bounced in the wild card game. I was really hoping they would go 0-16 this year, but, alas, it was not to be.  Ah well, maybe next year.

I wish the Lions wouldnt change their unis.  They're one of the "classic" NFL teams, much like the Yankees or the Red Sox are to baseball.  Can you imagine the Yankees ditching the pinstripes and the old "NY" on the caps?  It wouldn't be right.  Same with the Lions.

 

Besides, you can't blame the uniform for a 2-14 season.
