Did Hogan leave WWE?

I was wondering if he left WWE, It would've

of been good if he had a retirement match in

the WWE to end his career off on a good note

while putting somebody over.

I have no doubt that he'll be back for Mania, even if he gets the "Goldberg deal" of just having to make a few appearances leading up to a match

Thanks for the info, I thought that he was through with them because I heard that he was wrestling in Japan.

It's a shame the brock match wasn't officially his retirement match, or it would have meant more. I love that match, it is SO funny to watch him Hulk Up every 5 seconds to get beaten to death again. It was a fine way to set up summerslam though.

He's actually going to be teaming with Mutoh I believe, to wrestle against Goldberg and another wrestler, that's the word going around.

In all reality, Hogan's contract with Vince is up because he overworked the yearly alloted number of events in his contract, so right now, Vince is trying to see if Hogan would come back, but Hogan would only come back for a Hogan/Vince storyline. Who knows what will happen...

Hogan's contract expires on January 24th, so he's still 'with' Vince. He has completed all his contractually obligated dates, and he may use this to work elsewhere. And he is not wrestling on the upcoming Wrestle-1 show.

who cares? Hogan gave the rub to a few, sure he might like a better send off, but this is the same guy that wanted to return and squash everyone so that Brock's win at Survivor Series (provided he fought Hogan) would have meant more.

All the NWO was signed to three year deals.

Hogan's not going to Japan to wrestle. Meltzer cleared this up a couple days ago.

Why are you so harsh on The Hulkster? He's saving me a fortune in long distance!!

Hogan still has more rub to give.

He shouldn't get beat down as his showing in WWE. He should loose in a retirement match, that is the best way to give your rub off. Look what it did to Triple-Juice, his stardom shot off after he retired Mick.

Maybe, but you gotta look at the age factor. Hogan is in his early 50's, mick was still in his early 30's. Winning a match and essentially retiring an aging waaaay past his prime wrestler just doesn't have as great deal of impact as the Foley/HHH situation... even if Hogan is considered the greatest draw or one of the greatest draws in history.

I'm not saying that I'm against the idea (I would LOVE to see Jericho do it so we can hear about it like we do his "king of the world" stuff) ... I'm just skeptical of how much it would end up rubbing off on whomever is chosen.

That's basically how the Brock match went down. If he's gone for good at least he went out the right way. But as someone on this board once said, I'll never really believe he's never coming back until I see him in a pine box for myself.

That being said, the proposed match against Vince with Hogan presumably going over for Mania would be fun and wouldn't hurt anybody, although I'm sure there'd still be people crying "But how does this elevate anybody?" around here...
