Guest GameCop Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Well, with the Rumble around the corner, we have these matches to look forward to: -HHH vs. Steiner - World Heavyweight Title -Angle vs. Benoit - WWE Title -Brock vs. Big Show - winner enters the Rumble -Dawn vs. Torrie - stepmother vs. stepdaughter -Trish vs. Victoria OR Dudleys vs. 3 Minute Warning -Royal Rumble with one minute intervals: (RVD, Kane, HBK, Jericho, Booker T, Goldust, Batista, Christian, Maven, Dreamer, Storm, Regal, Lawler, Test, J. Hardy, Cena, B-2, Chavo, Eddy, Rikishi, Brock or Show, Undertaker, DeMott, Edge, Mysterio, Kidman, A-Train, Benjamin, Haas, Matt Hardy) Eh, looks like a waste of money to me. What do you guys think?
Guest C-Bacon Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 The only PPV's i ever order are WrestleMania. i;ll watch the Royal Rumble at a friends house if he can get his little magic box to work. If not, i found a bar that shows PPV's in Oakville (Ontario)
Guest razazteca Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 if its any good I might buy the DVD, after previewing it from my fav website.
Guest HartFan86 Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I'll be in section 143, Seat 12, Row 1. Club section.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I will order it b/c I don't pay 35 dollars for it. I have like 4 friends come over and we split the cost.
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Since HBK is on it, my mom will probably order it. We weren't planning on ordering Summerslam of Survivor Series, but we did. Why? Because my mom is an HBK mark. The only PPV we didn't order that had him in it was Armageddon.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Wow your mom must have some 6th sense not to order the PPV's that suck horrible ass.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I'm gonna watch it at Famous Players
Guest Coffey Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I will order it b/c I don't pay 35 dollars for it. I have like 4 friends come over and we split the cost. Same.

They named the participants already??
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I'm not ordering it, since Vince doesn't seem to feel fans from Australia are worth a damn by not giving us PPV's anymore.
Guest Ram Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Not that I know of, Bob. I'm going to order it to support Team Angle and the Benoit/Angle main event. Plus it's the RUMBLE. I promise it'll be good! *slowly backs away*
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Wow your mom must have some 6th sense not to order the PPV's that suck horrible ass. Actually, we didn't get it because of financial issues. Even if she did say we could get it, I would've said no. Besides, they recapped the HBK//HHH match the next night.
Guest Downhome Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Are they offering a web cast of it?
Guest GameCop Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I'm just guessing those will be the participants give or take a few guys.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I am pretty sure I am not ordering it. None of the matches terribly interest me enough to want to order it. Maybe I will think about it if they add Los Guerreros against Cena and Bling Bling, but, otherwise, I see little point.
Guest teke184 Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I was tempted to get this show, but I don't know anyone who'd want to split the $35 cost with me. On top of that, the only bar that has ever shown PPV that I know of only seems to get Wrestlemania each year.
Guest Downhome Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 If they offer the web cast, I will order it.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Does anyone know if the Fleet is really sold out? I checked out tix online and it says that none are available, but really can't believe that the Fleet is sold out. I figure if - nothing else - I can wait until after the show starts and buy a scapled seat for half-face-value.
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Splitting the cost with some buds. The shitty stuff we can mock. Plus I had a 5 dollar off coupon from our cable service.
Guest TUS_02 Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I got tickets for the show... for free. Problem is that I don't have the slightest clue where they are. My dad says that the tickets said Sec/Box Row was CK 57x. One would assume that C would mean the floor, but I don't know what the K means... or the 57x. But I'll be there regardless.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 If they offer the web cast, I will order it. Same, it'll be my act of loyalty for the year.
Guest NoCalMike Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I will be at "Players" sportsbar.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Im..not gonna do anything. I'll just leech off of the happenings on the board next sunday night..
Guest Human Fly Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 If I can get some people over to split cost I will, but if not I'll just get results off of the web.
Guest TheHulkster Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 The Rumble is like sex, even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. I'm definitely ordering it.
Guest razazteca Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 can never go wrong with a Angle vs Benoit match.
Guest Dangerous A Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 I will be at "Players" sportsbar. I'll probrably be sitting right next to you.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Eh, looks like a waste of money to me. What do you guys think? Well, judging by the quality of the product they offer, neither NWATNA nor the WWE are interested in getting their hands on any of my money. Very little interest in the card you list, sure I can find something better to do with my time.
Guest converge241 Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 i was all set to until i saw this morning about the 60 second thing It may seem minor to some people, but i think it changes the whole flow and appeal of the Rumble without those 2 mins to tell various small stories
