My Year End Poem

Recommended Posts

Guest Frankie Williams

I write a column on the website www.wrestling-news.com. called "Dot...Dot...Dot..." and this week I wrote a poem reviewing 2002 that I would like to share with you all;

"The Year in Review"

In the month of January, Triple H returned,

and way deep down, we all knew Jericho would get burned....

He won the Royal Rumble, thus earning a title shot,

so he would main event WrestleMania, and Kurt Angle would not....

February brought the WWF debut of the NWO.

Hall Nash and Hogan, later the Big Show....

They ran down the Rock, almost killing the man.

Its the middle of winter, why does Hogan have a tan?....

As March approached, WrestleMania was on the mind.

Advertisments on buses, if you didnt see them you were blind....

The biggest show of the year, important matches, it true.

Booker T and Edge fought over shampoo....

68 thousand filled the Blue Jay's home,

to see the Great One battle the man with the Crome Dome....

The match blew the roof off the place, though it wasnt that good,

but it had the feeling of WrestleMania, exactly the way it should....

Steve Austin beat Razor, and drank lots of beer,

something didnt feel right though, and Stone Cold's end would be near....

As March became April, ratings started to fall,

X Pac joined the NWO, but goodbye to Scott Hall....

Bradshaw got a push, we got the brand extension.

Austin was still not happy, you could really feel the tension....

Something happened in May that I thought I would never see,

when those Panda lovin freaks made WWF changed to WWE....

Hogan menaced our tv's as WWE champ.

Luckly the Undertaker took care of that, and added the title to his camp....

Brock Lesner won the King of the Ring in the month of June,

The Rock made his return, but would leave again very soon....

Big shocker in July with the return of the Bisch,

Stephanie was named GM of Smackdown, I would have rather it been Trish....

At Vengeance, Rock wins the title again and all the fans cheer

while Jericho loses to John Cena, what the hell is going on here??....

SummerSlam 2K2, HBK makes his comeback, Booker T and Goldust lose.

Brock becomes the youngest champ ever as the Rock hears the boos....

The Unforgivin ppv ends in a Double DQ.

34.95 for that? WWE has no clue....

The cool crisp air of October is back.

What better time to find out that Kane's a necrophiliac?....

Your telling me that this is the best WWE can create?

This angle makes Vince Russos ideas look like Shakespeare the Great....

I dont have the energy to get into November and December,

and 2003 didnt start out too hot, seeing Al Wilsons member....

Lets hope it gets better before it gets worse,

maybe we will see the above mentioned Al Wilson being driven in a hearse....

Happy 2003.
