I heard that chick from destiny's child is going to be there, I hope she get het neck slice open. Does anybody else know anything about this movie...if so, hook something up.

They just signed Paul Anderson to write and direct the Predator vs Alien movie for next summer, Freddy vs Jason has a release date and is nearly finished. That's never? Neither one is in the developmental stage anymore, they're both being made right now.

Both of these movies have been in the planning stages since probably before YOUR monkey ass was born, so you'll have to excuse me if I take a "I'll believe it when I see it" attitude towards it. As an aside, just because a movie is being filmed (FINALLY) doesn't guarantee a release. Just ask Marvel about that Fantastic Four project that was filmed yet shelved and never released. I'm sure I can dig up some stills of that for you, too. Still doesn't mean shit. (Shit, they shoulda shit-canned the Captain America movie, Punisher and new Daredevil movie if you ask me.) Again, sorry if I offended any fanboys (like Johnson1620) who pretty much depend on this movie to come out on time or else they won't be able to go out that Friday night. I apologize. If you think Freddy vs Jason isn't going to be released you're insane. It's nothing at ALL like the Fantastic Four movie. Fantastic Four was not made to be released. From day one when they started production they KNEW it was not going to be released. It was made for one reason and one reason only, so the studio's hold on the property rights wouldn't lapse. It was never meant to be seen by any of us that have basked in it's glory. It's fine to have a "believe it when you see it" attitude towards this crap, but in this instance, if you haven't noticed, there are a lot of photos, clips and other promo material around the net and on TV so you should have seen it by now so that means you should believe it now. The trailer will be released the week of the 31st, hopefully you'll be able to believe it exists then. I don't know why you would think this post would offend any fanboys. Stupidity doesn't offend, it just annoys.

I mean I was actually pleasantly suprised by Jason X out of all movies, however what I have seen so far(besides monster makeup) this movie will be bad, horribly bad. I hope I am wrong, and YA NEVER KNOW, but I am afraid, very afraid. I will end up seeing it probobaly for nostalgia purposes.

Robert Englund is actually a pretty well respected actor, so if he is in a movie that has a release date set, then I am more the sure it wiil be out. Especially since it has already got a tralior set for realease in a movie coming out this month. So who's the moron now. Also I am not that big of a fan, but I have just grown up, yes grown up, watching these films. Except for the first two NOEM and FT13th, I saw eveyone at the theater. So that makes me about in my mid 20's. So take your stereotypical remarks of kids being the only people on a message board and put them in No Holds Barred, since it's very evedent you have no clue who I am or what you are talking about. Just looking at every picture I've seen of of the 7 foot, 90 pound Jason makes me sick. If it DID never get released it wouldn't hurt my feelings much. But the fact of the matter is that there is no chance in hell that this movie will get shelved.

Freddy and Jason were both huge during my childhood. Also I've been waiting for this movie ever since Freddy's claw grabbed Jason's mask at the end of the last Friday The 13th before Jason X. So there's nothing that will make me not want to see it.

I don't think it'll be good at all. The only thing I, and looks everybody else, took exception to is the stupid comments about it not getting released. If the original post was just a joke, so be it, but you kept coming back and saying it again and again and it was never presented in a joking or even sarcastic manner. Even in your last post you still seemed to act like this movie was a figment of somebody's imagination because the pictures don't have BOTH characters in the same picture. When somebody says something as stupid as that, it gets a response, your opinion on the movie doesn't have anything to do with it because most fans of these movies have the same opinion on it.

Jason around, well..... Bottom line.......New Line has all the intentions in the world to release this ASAP or else they wouldn't have greenlit the damn thing after all these years, and its trailer (which was shown for the first time this weekend at the Fango convention) wouldn't be attached to the upcoming Final Destination 2 film. BTW, if anyone wants to catch up on news and stuff from the film, go check out fridaythe13thforum.com......
