SWF Lockdown Comments

Well, I lost. That sucks.

But hey, I'll get my title back, as long as Hunter Hearst Hearford doesn't make his debut and HHHold me down.

Enough with the rambling. Comments away!

That's cause he's the biznomb.

Judge's match was great, as I had hoped--good balance of submissions and hardcore. I really look forward to what he can do with a more innovative approach to the Hardcore division. Congrats on your first piece of gold, "Bill"! ::cackle::

I've skimmed the rest of the show and read Danny's match, which I loved--and just because he gave me a shout-out when Kibagami threw a gamengiri. It was just totally sweet, an exciting match with great strikes and submissions. If things keep up at this pace, I see little to no chance of Thoth, who disappointingly wasn't at all present on this show, retaining against arguably the two hottest writers in the fed in Frost and Danny.

Also really dug Tom's promo hinting at potential Kibagami-ness...that would certainly be thrown out of whack by tonight's match, might I add...but mostly because it drops some more hints of Tom's disrespect for Frost. Face turn for Frost? It could happen.

Tonight's return was neat, but I feel like I've seen it before. It is about unfinished business, though, and I'll be interested to see if this goes down within the context of the Clusterfuck, or in an independent match, a few of which I think we desperately will need to fill out that card.

Nice show, and a fine, fine Lockdown to start things off.

Edit: Also, Ash--I admire your desire to go right back after the Harcore Gamer's Title again, but you've had it four times, and most famously had it as Ash. If you really want to distinguish Craven and make for something big, I'd try to take him in a different direction. Maybe a tag team, maybe just a storyline beyond "I want my belt"--something to freshen him up will really help the transformation I know you want to come across.

Well finally i get a win, hooray. An extra 500 words or so would have helped to tidy my match up a bit, but for a 3500 word limit i thought it was good enough. Here's hoping i can keep on the winning track from now on.

From K-bank's money bag...hey, it's on Lockdown

Normally this is where I'd shill my Amazon wish list and DVD reviews, but whatever, I think I'll talk about my weekend and an Eagles win. E-A-G-L-E-S... EAGLES~! Well my weekend consisted of reguritating in a McDonald's trash can after getting ALMOST piss on yourself drunk but I'm still here(two days later) bringing you the quality.

Segment 1

We have a live feed and somebodies coming into the building, but before Gus can give us a good looksee the cameraman (I'm assuming because I'm smart like that) gets hits. What no opening for the first Lockdown of 03'...

Opening festivites

Our commentators are Grand Shill and it's Bobby with a 'y' you morons Riley. And we will be live at the house the JL built, The Gund Arena in Cleveland.

And here's the REAL start of the show, with brand new opening graphics and everything. It's like a new year and stuff so maybe the SWF will I don't know, have a fricken match start the show instead of a twenty minute promo by our resident kliq member HVT.

And surprise of all surprises it TdK not to be confused with RvD. The Germanator is upset and I am too. How can he not be in an ICTV title match he's the MAN... not to be confused with DA MAN(WHOO!). Tod loses his cool, breaks stuff and this segment is over...

Hardcore #1 Contenders Singles Match

Annie(That's ME) E. versus Zero

Well, you'd think Annie would win this because... first, she's feuding with Judge... second, she's not considered a jobber and third, do I really need a third reason. God somebody on the booking team give Xero a chance, he does actually have SOME talent. They do the chit chat and Annie busts Xero's nuts before challenging him to a duel! Well at least Xero's showing good emotion. They go through some technical stuff and Annie's in control with a single leg crab. Nice bit off storytelling as Annie is trying to use the submission to show she can do it but isn't proficent... since Xero breaks the hold fairly easily but Annie makes him do a split! It shouldn't hurt as much since Annie already de balled him during her entrance... Xero comes back with TWO NASTY KENDO SHOTS and then goes to the weakened ribs. Thank god for psych~! A REALLY close near fall this early and Annie sells like she's chanelling her Danny Williams matches. More rib work, counter by Annie - Spear and Xero pulls out quite possibly the best cocky pin I've ever seen and he's got his balls back in my book! Mark: "NEVER pin that lazily! You never assume you've finished your opponent like that!" Bobby: "I don't think he was finished, Mark, he probably just wanted an excuse for a cheap feel." Please tell me who doesn't want to cop a cheap feel? School boy after Xero cries to the ref, missed spear to the outside, and punches lead to an Angel Dive from Annie to turn the tide, but she's a tease much like my highschool girlfriend and kick - wham, GOOD MORNING, DAYBREAK ON THE CONCRETE~! But just to prove that Xero isn't getting a push anytime soon... she hits his own Dreamer DDT. Damn you, you finisher stealer, you! And like there was a doubt she gets the academic three count at whatever the time was. I don't give snowflakes because quite frankly I'm too lazy.

--------------------------

COMMERICAL BREAK

--------------------------

Tod seems to be wondering where his push is but forget that, what about Xero. He's starting to remind me of my youth, the WWF Superstars TV show in particular. Please get this man a real feud so that he can get motivated. Annie moves on in her feud establishing some things and everything is everything

Segment 2

C.E.D-MAX is in the back talking with GUS about DDR-MAX. Ced's getting ready for the main event later tonight and "Deathwish" Danny Williams intros him to the infrimary...

And that leads into the HVT 20 minute promo I expected to open the show. Well this one is pretty good and actual just around 15 minutes. Thugg is here, X returned, who'd a thunk Bo would be the next person back.

Singles Match

1-2-3 kid(strikes that is) versus The Joy of Pepsi X

to be continued after class...

Nevermind I'm too lazy to finish this

That's it? That's all the comments? Damn guys...

In my opinion, which I guess matters now, this was about 2 or 3 no-shows from being a great show. Seeing it from the other side, the no-showing is really at near epidemic levels.

Had three more people decided not to (or couldn't ) write, there would have been a double no-show on my first show. That would have sucked.

As it was, I am disappointed that only two matches were contested.

However, the promoage was first rate, and the matches that we had were all above average at least and most were better.

Now, let's hear some more comments!!!!
